REPLACE GOST 5157−53 in part of steel channel with curved shelf trolleys
EDITION (October 2012) with amendment No. 1, approved in October 1986 (IUS 1−87), Amendment (ICS 9−91)
This standard specifies the gauge hot rolled channels with curved shelf for trolleys.
(Added, Rev. N 1).
1a. For precision-rolled channels are produced:
— high accuracy,
— normal accuracy — V.
Note. The quality is determined based on the quality of steel used in the manufacture of channels.
(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1 Amendment).
1. Cross section of channels with a bent flange must match that specified on the drawing.
Refer to the drawing and table.1 and 2: | |

|
2. The dimensions of channels, maximum rejections of sizes, the cross-sectional area, weight of 1 m length, and reference values should correspond to those in table.1 and 2.

The maximum deviations of channels for high accuracy should be no more than: height mm, thickness ±0,7 mm.
(Changed edition, Rev. No. 1 Amendment).
3. The channels produce a length of 2 to 9 m:
— the measured length;
— multiple gauge length.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
4. (Deleted, Rev. N 1).
5. Limit deviations for channel length and multiple dimensional measuring length shall not exceed:
the usual precision:
+40 mm for bars up to 4 m;
+60 mm for a channel length of St… 4 to 6 m;
+80 mm for a channel length of 6 m. St.
high precision:
+40 mm for a channel length of St. 4 m to 7 m and +5 mm for each meter in excess of 7 m.
6. The curvature of the channel in horizontal and vertical planes should not exceed:
0,4% of length — normal accuracy;
0.3% of the length — high precision.
5, 6. (Changed edition, Rev. No. 1 Amendment).
7. Size control is carried out at a minimum distance of 500 mm from the end of the rod. The thickness of the wall of the channel is measured at the end of the rod, the height of the planes .
Control of the thickness of the flanges of channels is carried out according to the caliber rolls when they are boring.
8. Twisting around the longitudinal axis is not allowed.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
