1. This standard applies to steel bent Zeta equal and unequal sections, manufactured by roll forming mills of hot rolled and cold rolled steel of ordinary quality, quality carbon structural and low alloy.
1A. Precision profiling profiles are produced:
— high precision;
— high accuracy — B;
— normal accuracy — V.
(Added, Rev. N 2).
2. Cross-section profiles must match what is specified on the devil.1 and 2.
Damn.1
.
Damn.2
Refer to drawings and tables:
— the height of the profile;
— the width of the smaller shelf;
— greater width of the shelf;
— thickness profile;
— radius of curvature;
, main axis;
— the angle of the major axis;
is the moment of inertia;
— the moment of resistance;
— radius of gyration;
— points-section for which the specified values of the modulus;
— distance from center of gravity to the outer surface of the wall;
— distance from center of gravity to the outer surface of the lower shelf;
— the ratio of the calculated height to the thickness of the profile;
— the ratio of the estimated overhang the shelf to the greater thickness of the profile;
— the ratio of the estimated overhang the smaller shelf to the thickness of the profile.
3. The dimensions of the profiles, the cross-sectional area reference values for the axes and mass of 1 m must meet:
— for profiles of carbon and boiling semi-killed steel of ordinary quality and quality carbon steel with a temporary tear resistance of not more than 461 N/mmis indicated in the table.1 and 3;

Notes to the table.1−4:
1. Given in the tables the cross-sectional area and reference values calculated based on nominal sizes.
When calculating the linear density profile the density of steel is equal to 7.85 g/cm.
2. Linear density profile is for reference only.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2, 3).
4. Limit deviations in height of the profile should not exceed those specified in table.5.

Note. For z angle profiles, the maximum deviations are established for the most the shelf.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
6. (Deleted, Rev. N 3).
7. Extreme deviation from the 90° angle must not exceed ±1°30'; for profiles of high precision:
±1°30' — width with shelves up to 80 mm;
±1° with a shelf width of more than 80 mm.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
8. Profiles are produced in length from 3 to 12 m:
— the measured length;
— multiple of gauging length;
— random length.
At the request of the customer can be manufactured profiles of limited length within off-gage.
9. Maximum deviations along the length of the profiles dimensional and multiple lengths shall not exceed that specified in table.7.

10. Twisting of profiles around the longitudinal axis shall not exceed 1° by 1 m.
The total twist must not exceed the admissible torsion on 1 m length of profile in meters, but not more than 10°.
11. The curvature of the profiles should not exceed 0.1% of the measured length.
12. Shelves waviness profile should not exceed 2 mm per 1 m. the Minimum wave — length of 500 mm.
13. Section height and flange width are controlled in a plane parallel to the wall or shelf, on the distance of the outer radius of curvature .
14. The sizing of the cross section as well as torsion and curvature is carried out at a minimum distance of 500 mm from the ends to the usual accuracy not less than 300 mm — with high accuracy and not less than 200 mm with high precision profiling.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2, 3).
