3 Terms and definitions
This standard applies the following terms with the corresponding definitions.
3.1 foil: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.05 to 0.10 mm, supplied in coil.
3.2 tape: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.10 to 6.00 mm inclusively, supplied in rolls or cut to length (strip) with a cut edge.
3.3 sheet: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness: cold rolled — from 0.20 to 12.00 mm inclusively, supplied in segments with cut or rolled edge; hot — from 3.00 to 25.00 mm inclusively, supplied in segments.
3.4 plate: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness over 25,00 mm, supplied in segments.
3.5 camber: the Deviation from straightness, in which the surface of the side edge of the foil, ribbon or sheet in a horizontal plane has the shape of an arc.
3.6 deflection (warpage): Private view of the deviations from flatness in longitudinal or transverse direction, wherein the surface of the tape, sheet or plate has an arc shape.
3.7 cut end Squareness, mm: Failure to form, in which the cutting plane forms with the longitudinal plane of the sheet or plate angle less than or greater than 90°.

tape according to GOST 3560;
— wire according to GOST 3282.
It is possible to use other types of packaging and packaging materials not inferior in strength to the above and ensure quality safety of products.
8.6 To each coil or bundle or on each plate should be attached a label showing:
— trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the name of the country of manufacturer;
— the legend foil, ribbons, sheets and plates;
— batch number;
— stamp of technical control.
8.7 Without packaging in boxes, paper, and synthetic nonwoven materials is allowed to transport coils and packs in the containers according to the GOST 15102, GOST 22225, 20435 GOST 18477 and GOST in a single address without reloading on the way. In this case, between rows of bales and bundles must be laid corrugated cardboard according to GOST 7376.
During transportation in containers, coils and bundles must be stacked and fortified in such a way as to prevent their movement in the container. In addition, coils and bundles shall be protected against corrosion, contamination and mechanical damage.
8.8 In each box or container must be attached to the packing slip, containing:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the name of the country of manufacture;
— the symbol foil, ribbons, sheets and plates;
— the batch number;
— the net weight;
— gross mass;
— the number of the packer.
8.9 Transport marking under GOST 14192 with the application of manipulation sign «Protect from moisture».
8.10 Consolidation packages in overpacks carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26663. Means bonding in the transport packets according to GOST 21650.
Packaging is carried out on pallets according to GOST 9557 or GOST 9078 or without pallets with the use of bars with a height of not less than 50 mm with strapping in the longitudinal and transverse directions with wire of diameter not less than 2 mm according to GOST 3282 or tape not less than 0,320 mm according to GOST 3560. Binding: wire — stranding at least five turns of tape to the castle.
Weight of cargo must not exceed 2000 kg. Weight of cargo space in covered wagons should not exceed 1250 kg.
8.11 Packaging foil, ribbons, sheets and plates sent to the far North regions and equated areas according to GOST 15846 in the group «Metals and metal products.»
8.12 Foil, strip, sheet and plate transporterowych all types of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.
8.13 Foil, ribbons, sheets and plates should be stored in covered premises. When storing and transporting the foil, ribbons, sheets and plates shall be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.
The consumer foil, strip, sheet and plate should be kept in stock in the manufacturer’s packaging for at least two days to equalize the temperature of the foil, ribbons, sheets and plates to the room temperature. At expiration, foil, strip, sheet and plate needs to be unpacked.
Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of the copper foil, ribbons, sheets and plates in storage do not change.
