This standard applies to Nailbomb cold-drawn wire of circular cross section used in instrumentation and other industries.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The diameter of the wire and limit deviation shall be as specified in table.1.

Notes:

1. Wire of high accuracy diameters from 0.10 to 0.90 mm is manufactured only in solid state.

2. Wire in a semi-solid state is manufactured in diameters between 0.60 to 5.00 mm.

3. Wire of high accuracy diameters from 0.4 to 1.80 mm are made for products of switching equipment.

1.2. The roundness of the wire must not exceed half of the maximum deviations in diameter.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Wire produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

A wire made of Nickel silver brand ISC 15−20 with chemical composition churchyard 492−73.

Allowed by agreement between manufacturer and consumer of sulfur and phosphorus in the alloy to 0.01% of each without compromising the technological properties of wire.

2.2. Wire shall be manufactured in soft, semi-solid and solid States.

2.3. The surface of the wire must be pure, without captivity, cracks, delamination, cavities and other defects.

On the surface allowed the defects to a depth of not more than the limit deviation for diameter (after Stripping control), as well as the color of a tint. At the request of the consumer, the wire should be flat, without any darkening on the surface.

Allowed to set the requirements to the surface quality of the samples agreed with the customer.

2.4. Mechanical properties of the wire shall be as specified in table.2.

At customer’s request, produce wire in a solid state with a narrower interval of temporary resistance.

2.5. The average grain size of the wire in the soft state should not be larger than 4-th number of the microstructure at 100 x magnification.

2.6. Solid wire with a diameter of 1.50−5.00 mm shall withstand without failure at least four kinks.

2.7. Weight of wire on a reel (spool) is given in Appendix 2.

2.8. Each coil or reel shall consist of one piece of wire without splices and knots.

2.9. The winding of wire in a coil and the coil must be correct separatornyi rows, without sharp bends. The ends of the wire on the coils should be firmly fixed.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES


3.1. Wire is accepted by the parties.

The party should consist of wire of the same diameter, one is precision manufacturing, one state of the material shall be furnished in one document about quality that contains:

— designation of wire;

— the batch number;

— the weight of the batch;

— number of places;

— test results (as required).

The weight of the batch shall not exceed 1000 kg.

3.2. Control the appearance and size of the wire is carried out with the acceptance level of defects is 2.5%, which is taken from the party coils (coil) «blind» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321−73. The control plans comply with GOST 18242−72. The number of selected coils (coils) is determined by the table.4.

The party is considered usable if the number of coils (coils) with measurements that do not correspond to the requirements less than the acceptance number given in table.4.

3.3. To control the mechanical properties, grain size and bend of each party select three coils or coil wire. Control of grain size is produced on the wire with diameter 1.0−5.0 mm by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer.

The test bend is carried out periodically at the request of the consumer.

3.4. To determine compliance brand of alloy to the requirements of GOST 492−73 taken two rolls or coils from the party.

Allowed to determine the chemical composition of the manufacturer on samples taken from molten metal.

3.5. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators is given in PP.3.3 and 3.4, it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample taken from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS


4.1. Inspection of the wire surface is produced without the use of magnifying devices.

The defects detected on the surface of the wire, sanded to extinction. For the value of the defect take the difference of diameter of wire in place of Stripping and next to him.

4.2. Wire diameter is measured in two mutually perpendicular directions of the same section in two places on the coil or coil micrometers 6507−90 according to GOST, GOST 4381−87 or device, ensuring the necessary measurement accuracy.

If there is disagreement in the definition of diameter is measured by micrometer according to GOST 6507−90, GOST 4381−87.

4.3. For the tensile test from each selected winding (coil) are cut on the same model.

Sampling is carried out according to GOST 24047−80. Test wire tensile churchyard 10446−80 carried out on samples with an estimated length of 100 mm.

4.4. Testing the inflection of each selected winding (coil) are cut on the same model.

Test wire at the bend shall be carried out according to GOST 1579−93.

4.5. To determine the chemical composition of each selected winding (coil) are cut on the same model. The selection and preparation of samples is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

The chemical composition of the wire is determined according to GOST 25086−87, GOST 6689.1−92, GOST 6689.3−92-GOST 6689.7−92, GOST 6689.10−92, GOST 6689.12−92, GOST 6689.13−92, GOST 6689.18−92, GOST 6689.20−92 or other methods providing the required accuracy.

If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 25086−87, GOST 6689.1−92, GOST 6689.3−92-GOST 6689.7−92, GOST 6689.10−92, GOST 6689.12−92, GOST 6689.13−92, GOST 6689.18−92, GOST 6689.20−92.

4.6. Measuring the average grain size is produced according to GOST 21073.0−75, GOST 21073.1−75и GOST 21073.3−75.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE


5.1. Wire with a diameter of less than 0.50 mm wound in coils, the wire diameter of 0.50 mm and more are rolled into coils.

5.2. Each coil of wire shall be tied with annealed wire with diameter not less than 0.35 mm according to GOST 3282−74 in at least two places symmetrically around the circumference of the roll with the twisting of the ends of the wire at least three turns.

5.3. Coils of wire of the same diameter, one is precision manufacturing, one state of the material tied into the Bay.

5.4. Each Bay needs to be tied in at least three areas heat-treated wire of diameter not less than 1 mm according to GOST 3282−74 with a paper gasket in the areas of dressing with twisting the wire at least five turns.

5.5. For each coil (coils) must be firmly attached wooden or metal label. On each reel shall be pasted label. Labels must contain the following data:

is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

— designation of wire;

— the batch number;

stamp of technical control.

5.6. Wire of 1 mm diameter and less shall be Packed in tight wooden boxes type I or type II according to GOST 2991−85 or other boxes or metal box pallets, lined with paper GOST 8273−75 GOST 8828−89 or cardboard according to GOST 9347−74, GOST 9421−80. Overall dimensions of the boxes according to GOST 21140−88.

Bay coils or wire diameter more than 1 mm should be wrapped around the circumference of non-woven material or other types of packaging materials, ensuring the safety of products, with the exception of linen and cotton fabrics, and tied with wires of diameter not less than 0.5 mm according to GOST 3282−74 or synthetic twine in a spiral. The outer diameter of a coil or Bay must not exceed 1000 mm.

Packaging of products sent to the far North and remote areas — according to GOST 15846−79.

Weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.

By agreement with the consumer allowed to use other boxes and other dressings and packing materials, strength is not inferior to the above and ensure quality safety of products.

5.7. The package needs to be formed into transport packets in accordance with the requirements of GOST 24597−81 on pallets according to GOST 9078−84 or without pallets using also packageable strop of wire with a diameter of not less than 3 mm according to GOST 3282−74. The formation of the packages from the bins can without pallets with the use of wooden bars of size not less than 50x50 mm.

Weight of a transport package shall not exceed 1250 kg, height — 1350 mm.

To ensure the safety of package during transportation and loading and unloading of the transport packets shall be sealed longitudinally and transversely strapping each row of packages wire diameter not less than 3 mm according to GOST 3282−74 with twisting wire ends at least five turns of tape dimensions not less than 0,3х30 mm according to GOST 3560−73, the bonding ends of the castle.

To ensure the stability of the packages when stacked on top of the download package must be installed shield or other device.

5.8. Bay or coils of wire can be transported in universal containers according to GOST 20435−75 or GOST 22225−76 or box pallets without packing in boxes, with each Bay or a coil of wire must be wrapped around the circumference in the paper GOST 8828−89 or GOST 9569−79 and tied with wires of diameter not less than 0.5 mm according to GOST 3282−74 or synthetic twine in a spiral. Bay or coils of wire with a diameter of more than 1 mm can be transported in box pallets without packaging in packaging materials.

5.9. In each box or container must be attached to packing list with indication of the data is given in section 5.5, with the addition of gross and net mass of the package.

5.11. Wire is transported by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to the transport of the species; by rail — small or small shipments.

5.12. Wire should be stored in covered rooms, in drawers or on shelves, pallets or racks in the absence of contact with moisture and active chemical substances.

Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of the wire during storage are not changed.
