3 Terms and definitions
This standard applies the following terms with respective definitions:
3.1 foil: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.05 to 0.10 mm, supplied in coil.
3.2 tape: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness from 0.10 to 4,00 mm inclusively, supplied in a roll.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
3.2 and strip: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross-section with uniform thickness between 0,20 mm to 12,00 obtained from strips, cut to length with a cut edge and (or) of cold-rolled sheets, cut to width with cut edge.
(Added, Rev. N 1).
3.3 sheet: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness: cold rolled — from 0.20 to 12.00 mm inclusively, supplied in segments with cut or rolled edge; hot — from 3.00 to 25.00 mm inclusively, supplied in the interval.
3.4 plate: Flat rolled product of rectangular cross section of uniform thickness in excess of 25.00 mm, supplied in the interval.
3.5 camber: the Deviation from straightness, in which the surface of the side edge of the foil, ribbon or sheet in a horizontal plane has the shape of an arc.
3.6 deflection (warpage): Private view of the deviations from flatness in longitudinal or transverse direction, wherein the surface of the tape, sheet or plate has an arc shape.
3.7 cut end Squareness, mm: Failure to form, in which the cutting plane forms with the longitudinal plane of the sheet or plate angle different from 90°.
4 Assortment

Particularly rigid tapes, stripes and sheets are produced with thickness up to 2.00 mm, inclusive. Spring-solid tape, strips and sheets are produced with thickness up to 1.00 mm inclusive.
5.3 At customer’s request, tape, strip and sheets are made antimagnetic in accordance with GOST 15527.
5.4 the surface of the foil, ribbons, strips, sheets and slabs should be free from contamination, hinder the inspection.
On the surface allowed the color of a tint, a local darkening, traces of the technological lubricant, as well as local defects, not delivering foil, tape, strip and cold-rolled sheets at reference sweep for tolerances for thickness.
On the surface of the plates and hot rolled sheets allowed roughness and prints from the rolls in the form of fine mesh. Traces of slag rejection symptom are not.
Plates and hot rolled sheets are produced without etching of the surface. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer is allowed to produce slabs and hot rolled sheets with etched surface plates and with mechanical surface treatment (milled).
On the surface of the plates and hot rolled sheets allowed individual defects, not displaying plates and hot rolled sheets at reference sweep for tolerances for thickness.
Permitted surface quality control samples are agreed between manufacturer and user.
5.1−5.4 (Revised edition, Edit. N 1).
5.5 Soft sheets and strip must be pretreated with.
After basocellular annealing soft sheets and strip, etching can not be.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
5.6 Foil, tape, strip and leaves should be trimmed evenly and must not have burrs, which significantly affect the use of foil, tapes and sheets as directed. Wrinkled and ragged edges are not allowed. Only small undulations, disappearing with a control curve.
Allowed manufacturing of the tape strip and sheet without trimming.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
5.7 Plate needs to be trimmed for width and length.
Allowed by agreement between manufacturer and consumer plate manufacturing without cropping, spaced on nominal sizes. The maximum deviation should be no more than:
— width plus 75 mm on each side.
— length plus 150 mm on each side.
5.8 Allowable cut end Squareness, mm should take a sheet, strip, and plate for limit deviations on width and length.
5.9 Camber strips and foils shall not exceed: a width up to 100 mm inclusive — 4 mm per 1 m length, with a width over 100 mm — 3 mm per 1 m length.
Camber plates and strips with thickness up to 4.0 mm should not exceed 5 mm per 1 m of length, thickness exceeding 4,0 mm — 8 mm per 1 m length.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
5.10 Deflection of the tape (mm) in the transverse direction to strips of width from 10 to 100 mm, inclusive, should not exceed 1 mm, for strips of width over 100 mm deflection , mm, is calculated by the formula
, (1)
where is the deflection for strips of width from 10 to 100 mm;
— belt width, mm.
The deflection of the tape in the longitudinal direction is not regulated.
The deflection of cold-rolled sheets and strips shall not exceed 1 mm per 100 mm width and 20 mm per 1 m length of the sheet or strip.
For hot rolled sheets and plates of deflection is determined by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer.
5.11 At the request of the consumer strip, cold-rolled sheets with a thickness of 1.00 to 10.00 mm and tape marks Lmc58−2 with a thickness of 0.50 to 2.00 mm shall withstand a bend test in cold state in the direction of rolling: a soft 180°, the semi-hard — on 90° around a mandrel with a radius of curvature equal to the thickness of the sheet strip, without the appearance of cracks and delamination.
5.8−5.11 (Revised edition, Edit. N 1).
5.12, the Mechanical properties of tapes, strips and sheets shall be as given in table 14.

Mechanical properties for hot rolled sheets with thickness over 12 mm is determined by the requirement of the user.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
5.13 Mechanical properties of the boards not reglamentary. The mechanical properties of the plates is determined by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, in this case agree on the venue and procedure for the selection of the sample.
5.14 At the request of the consumer soft tape with a thickness of from 0.80 to 1.20 mm, width from 100 mm to 400 mm of brass brands L63 and L68, intended for deep drawing, are made with a relative elongation of at least 50% (temporary resistance in this case is determined) and the size of grains from 0.015 to 0.040 mm. Camber data tapes should be no more than 1.5 mm per 1 m length.
5.15 At the customer’s request depth of the extrusion is determined for strips of thickness from 0.10 to 2.00 mm, strips and sheets with thickness from 0.20 to 2.00 mm, punch radius 10 mm. forming Depth spherical dimples shall be as defined in table 15.

the weight of the party.
The weight of the batch is not limited.
Allowed to issue a single document the quality of several batches of foil, ribbons, strips, sheets or plates of brass of the same brand, same size, same state, same accuracy and method of manufacture, shipped to the same consumer, indicating the batch number.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
6.2 To control the size, appearance, camber and deflection of the foil, ribbons, strips, sheets, plates, skew of the cut sheets, strips and plates are used single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with GOST 18242 with the acceptance level of defects AQL=4%.
The selection of rolls of foil and ribbons, sheets, strips and plates in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321.
If the quantity does not exceed three rolls of foil, tapes, or three sheets, strips and plates, checked each roll of foil tape or every sheet, strip, plate.
