This standard applies to cold drawn Konstantinovo uninsulated wire of circular cross section, used for electrical purposes. The wire is intended for use at temperatures above 500 °C.

The requirements of sec. 1, 2 (except PP.2.4 a, 2.6, 2.7), 3, 4, and 5 are required.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The diameter of the wire and limit deviation shall be as specified in table.1.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Wire shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner. Wire made of Constantan brand Mnmc40−1,5 with the chemical composition according to GOST 492−73.

2.2. As the metal wire must be:

with a diameter of 0.09 mm or less — rigid;

St. with a diameter of 0.09 mm — hard and soft.

2.3. The surface of the wire must be clean, smooth, without cracks and delamination.

Allowed individual surface defects with a depth not exceeding the limit deviation for diameter (after Stripping control).

Allowed on the surface of soft wire color tint and local oxidation.

Note. Customer’s request soft wire with a diameter of 0.5 mm or more, intended for a further drawing made with light surface.

2.4. The resistivity of wires shall be those specified in table.2.

2.6. The mass of the segment wire in Hank or on a spool is shown in Annex 4.

The number of coils (coils) low mass must not be more than 10% of the batch weight.

2.7. Solid wire of diameter 1 mm and must withstand bending 180°.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Wire take parties. The party should consist of wire of one method and precision manufacturing, one state, one diameter and decorated with a single document about quality that contains:

trademark or name of the manufacturer and trademark;

symbol wire;

the weight of the party;

batch number;

test results of electrical resistivity, and at the request of the consumer — results of tests in bending, tension and chemical composition;

the number of seats.

The weight of the batch shall not exceed 1000 kg.

By agreement with the consumer for a wire diameter of more than 0.6 mm, the weight of the batch should not exceed 2500 kg.

3.2. To control the size and surface quality of wire used in single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with GOST 18242−72, with the acceptance level of defects is 2.5%. The sampling plan given in table.5A. Selection of wire in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321−73.

Note. If the lot size does not exceed five skeins (coils), carried out continuous control.

The party is considered usable if the number of coils (coils) with measurements that do not correspond to the requirements of table.1 and 2.3, less than the acceptance number given in table.5A.

Allowed the manufacturer to carry out continuous control of surface quality and dimensions of the wire.

At the customer’s request quality control of the surface and the size of the wire is subjected to each coil (coil).

Allowed the manufacturer to control the quality of the surface and the size of wire in the production process.

3.3. For the test wire tensile and bend selected three coils (coils) of the party. Tensile test and bending is carried out periodically at the request of the consumer.

3.4. To determine the electrical resistivity taken ten skeins (coils) of the party. If there is less than ten skeins (coils), then check each coil (coil).

3.5. To check the chemical composition of the selected two rolls (coils) of the party.

Allowed to determine the chemical composition of the manufacturer on samples taken from molten metal.

3.6. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators (except for surface quality and size) on it, repeat tests are carried out at twice the sample selected from the same batch.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Inspection of the wire surface is produced without the use of magnifying devices.

4.2. Measurement of wire diameter of from 0.02 to 0.09 mm and wire diameters of 0.10−0.20 mm high precision produced according to GOST optimera 28798−90 with scale interval 0.001 mm, wire diameter of 0.09 mm — micrometer according to GOST 6507−90 with a scale division of 0.01 mm.

Measure the diameter of a wire supplied in coils to produce two mutually perpendicular directions of the same cross section of wire in the beginning, end and mid roll. Allowed to measure the diameter of the wire other tool, to ensure appropriate measurement accuracy.

Wire diameter from 0.02 to 0.09 mm, inclusive, is allowed to determine the weighting of segments of the wire length of 200 mm on the scale with an error of less than 1%.

The test result should be the arithmetic mean of the results of the three weighings.

The mass of the segment wire length of 200 mm shall be as defined in table.5.

4.3. For the tensile test from each selected winding (coil) are cut on the same model.

Sampling is carried out according to GOST 24047−80. Test wire tensile churchyard 10446−80 carried out on samples with an estimated length of 100 mm.

4.4. Test wire bending should be carried out according to GOST 14019−80. The bending of the wire is produced around a mandrel of diameter equal to the diameter of the wire, parallel to both ends of the specimen, the wire must not break.

4.5. To determine the chemical composition of each selected winding (coil) are cut on the same model. The selection and preparation of samples is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

The chemical composition of the wire is determined according to GOST 25086−87, GOST 6689.1−92 — GOST 6689.23−92, or other methods providing the required accuracy. If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 25086−87, GOST 6689.1−92 — GOST 6689.23−92.

4.6. Definition of specific electric resistance of wire should be carried out according to GOST 7229−76 method double bridge for resistance measurement with an error of less than 1%.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Wire with a diameter of less than 0.50 mm is wound on a coil with a diameter of 0.50 mm and over in coils.

Allowed on the customer’s request wire diameter from 0.50 to 0.80 mm inclusive wound on a coil.

5.2. The wire should be wound on a reel or folded into skeins right separatornyi rows, without sharp bends and should be easy to get out of control.

The distance between the upper row of the wire and the edge of the cheeks of the coil should be at least 2 mm.

Re-reeling is to eliminate the possibility of rotation of the wire around the coil core.

5.3. Each coil (a coil) should consist of one piece of wire without splices and knots.

5.4. The ends of the wire on the coils should be firmly fixed.

5.5. Each skein should be tied with soft wire with a diameter of not less than 0.35 mm according to GOST 3282−74 in at least two places symmetrically around the circumference of the roll with the twisting of the wire at least three turns. Coils of wire of one party bind in the Bay. Each coil shall be securely tied with wires of diameter not less than 1 mm Pogost 3282−74 in at least three places evenly around the circumference of the Bay with a strip of paper GOST 8273−75 in the field of dressing with twisting the wire at least five turns.

5.6. To each coil or coils, if it is not connected to the Bay, must be attached to plywood or metal label on each reel shall be pasted label with the indication on them:

the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

legend wire;

batch number;

stamp of technical control.

5.7. Wire of 1 mm diameter and less shall be Packed in tight wooden boxes of types I and II according to GOST 2991−85 or wooden boxes and metal box pallets according to normative-technical documentation in accordance with the requirements of GOST 2991−85 host 9570−84 lined with paper GOST 8273−75 GOST 8828−89 or cardboard according to GOST 9347−77, GOST 9421−80. Overall dimensions of the boxes according to GOST 21140−88.

Bay coils or wire diameter more than 1 mm should be wrapped around the circumference of nonwoven material (soft wire with bright surface should be previously wrapped in paper GOST 8828−89) according to normative-technical documentation, or other packaging materials, ensures safety of our products, with the exception of linen and cotton fabrics and tied with wires of diameter not less than 0.5 mm according to GOST 3282−74 or synthetic twine in a spiral. The outer diameter of a coil or Bay must not exceed 1000 mm.

By agreement with the consumer allowed to use other boxes and other dressings and packing materials, strength is not inferior to the above, and ensure quality safety of products.

Packaging products in the far North and remote areas — according to GOST 15846−79, the group «Metals and metal products."

Weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.

5.8 the package needs to be formed into transport packets in accordance with the requirements of GOST 24597−81 on pallets according to GOST 9078−84. The formation of the packages from the boxes allowed to exercise and without pallets with the use of wooden bars of size not less than 50x50 mm and coves wire diameters more than 1 mm using also packageable strop of wire with a diameter of not less than 5 mm according to GOST 3282−74.

Weight of a transport package shall not exceed 1250 kg, height — 1350 mm.

To ensure the safety of package during transportation and loading and unloading of the transport packets shall be sealed longitudinally and transversely strapping each row of packages wire diameter not less than 3 mm according to GOST 3282−74 with twisting wire ends at least five turns of tape dimensions not less than 0,3х30 mm according to GOST 3560−73, the bonding ends of the castle.

To ensure the stability of the packages when stacked on top of the download package must be installed shield or other device.

5.9. Bay or coils of wire can be transported in universal containers according to GOST 20435−75 or GOST 22225−76, or box pallets without packing in boxes, with each Bay or a coil of wire with a diameter of 1 mm or less, and soft wire with bright surface with a diameter of more than 1 mm should be wrapped around the circumference in the paper GOST 8828−89 or GOST 9569−79 and tied with wires of diameter not less than 0.5 mm according to GOST 3282−74 spiral. Bay or coils of wire with a diameter of more than 1 mm can be transported in universal containers and closed box pallets without packaging in packaging materials (except for light wires).

In each box or container must be attached to packing list stating:

the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;

legend wire;

batch number;

gross weight and net weight of the package;and

stamp of technical control.

5.10. Transport marking — according to GOST 14192−77.

5.11. Wire transporterowych by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species. During transportation by railway transport — small and light shipments.

5.12. During the transportation and storage of wire shall be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.

Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of the wire during storage are not changed.
