1 Scope
This standard applies to drawn copper rods round, square, hexagonal cross-sections, extruded and extruded rods of circular cross section, used in various industries.

3 Terms and definitions
This standard applies the terminology according to GOST 32597, as well as the following terms with respective definitions:
3.1 rod: a Solid product obtained by pressure treatment, uniform cross-section throughout its length, in the form of a circle, square, regular polygons, supplied in straight lengths and in coils.
3.2 extruded bars and rods: a Solid product of uniform cross-section produced by continuous extrusion rotation (the process of «Conform») supplied in the form of direct cuts or wound on drums.
3.3 out-of-roundness (deviation from circular shape): Difference between the largest and smallest values of the diameters measured at one cross section perpendicular to the axis of the rod.
3.4 Bay: Cut the product wound into a series of continuous turns.
3.4.1 Bay freespool: the Bay in which the disordered coils held close to each other.
3.4.2 Bay layered orderly winding: the Bay in which the coils are wound in layers parallel to the axis of the Bay, so that the successive turns in each layer come one after the other.
3.5 measuring length: the Product of a certain length, specified in the order, straight leg, or in the Bay.
3.6 times the length: the Period of integral multiple of the number of core length with an allowance for cutting and a tolerance on the overall length.
4 Assortment
4.1 the Diameter of a drawn bar and limit deviations of the diameter shall be as specified in table 1.

4.2 By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, drawn bars can be manufactured with a symmetrical field tolerance specified in table 2.

4.4 the diameter of the extruded rods and the tolerances for diameter shall conform to the values specified in table 4.

4.5 Diameter extruded rods and limit deviations of the diameter with a symmetrical tolerance field must match the values specified in table 5.

4.6 the length of the rods manufactured in segments:
— random length:
— from 2 to 5 m of diameter up to 40,0 mm, inclusive,
— from 1 to 4 m with a diameter of more than 40.0 to 80.0 mm inclusive,
— from 1 to 3 m — a diameter of more than 80,0 to 100.0 mm, inclusive,
— from 0.5 to 2 m diameter more than 100,0 mm;
— measuring length within off-gage extreme deviations in length:
for drawn and extruded — plus 15 mm;
— for extruded:
— with a diameter of 80.0 mm inclusive — plus 20 mm
— a diameter greater than 80.0 mm plus 25 mm.
Limit deviations of the length measuring bars with the cut ends should not exceed ±100 mm;
— dimensional length within off-gage with an allowance of 5 mm on each cut and with a tolerance in length established for rods of standard length.
By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer allowed the production of rods with a length greater than the specified tolerances established by agreement between the consumer and manufacturer.
4.7 At the request of the consumer and the manufacturer is allowed to produce drawn bars with diameter up to 18.0 mm inclusive, in coils weighing up to 140 kg.
By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, drawn bars can be manufactured in coils of the following types:
— bays are free of winding (BT);
— Bay layered orderly winding (CU).
The ends of the rods in the Bay can be straight.

In the case where the special conditions are not specified by the consumer, the bars are made with performance conditions at the discretion of the manufacturer.

5 Technical requirements
5.1 Bars manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard, made of copper grades M1, M1r, M
5.2 Bars are made tanitimi, pressed and extruded. Drawn bars are manufactured in soft, semi-solid and solid States.
5.3 Surface bars should be free from contamination, hindering its visual inspection, no cracks and delamination. On the surface allowed small slivers, dents, shells, scratches, scores, koltsevatost, traces changes, if they control the sweep cannot make the bars for limit deviation for diameter.
On the surface of bars allowed the color of the tint. On hard and semi-hard bars allowed traces of the technological lubricant.
