This standard applies to copper, cold rolled and hot rolled sheets and copper cold rolled strip.
Requirements PP.1.1, 1.3.1, 1.4 and sec. 2, 3 of this standard are mandatory.
1. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.1. Sheets and strips are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.
Sheets and strips made of copper grades M1, M1p, M2, M2r, M3, M3r according to GOST 859.

1.3. Features
For soft and rigid sheets and strips are allowed a tint of color and minor darkening. On the surface of the hot rolled sheets are acceptable roughness and prints from the rolls in the form of fine mesh.
Warpage (deflection) of cold rolled sheets and strips solid and semi-solid States should not exceed 1 mm per 100 mm width and 20 mm per 1 m length of the sheet or strip.

1. The elongation is determined for sheets and strips of a thickness of 0.5 mm or more. Values of relative elongation for the sheets and strips of a thickness of 0.4 mm are reference.

The bend test when the thickness of sheet and strip up to 5 mm inclusive shall be carried out before the contact; when the thickness of 5.5 mm or more — up to parallel sides.
Semi-solid cold-rolled sheets and strips with thickness from 1.0 mm to 10 mm shall withstand a bend test in cold state at 90° without the appearance of traces of tears and cracks around the mandrel with a radius of curvature equal to the thickness of the sheet or strip.
A sheet of deoxidized copper must withstand a bending test after annealing in a hydrogen environment.
1.4. Marking
trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;
the symbol sheet or strip;
batch number;
stamp of technical control.
Allowed to mark only one top sheet (the strip) in the box (the stack).
On the package to apply the manipulation sign «Protect from moisture». The marking containing information about the packaged product, should be located on free Shuttle marking the side of the box and contain:
trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;
designation sheets or strips;
batch number.

the net weight and gross packaged unit.
1.5. The packaging should provide protection sheets and strips from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical substances.
Cold-rolled sheets and strips of a thickness of 0.4 to 1.0 mm inclusive are Packed in wooden crates type I or type III according to GOST 10198or GOST 24634 in terms of boxes for export, or in other containers according to normative-technical documentation with the standards of mechanical strength GOST 26838.
Allowed sheets and strip, tie into bundles tied in at least two areas or cross band size not less than 0,3x20 mm or a wire with a minimum thickness of 2 mm.
Sheets with a length of 4 m or more must be bent before the contact edges.
Allowed shipment of sheets and strips in containers GOST 15102, GOST 22225, 20435 GOST and GOST 18477 without packing in boxes and bundles. When shipping in containers, sheets and strips should be laid and strengthened with the help of braces, excluding the move inside the container during transportation.
The package needs to be formed into transport packets in accordance shost 26663.
As a means of packaging and means for fastening packages must be used: tape according to GOST 3560, wire according to GOST 3282, lining according to GOST 22322, pallets according to GOST 9557, other types of packaging and packaging materials according to normative-technical documentation in compliance with the requirements of GOST 24597, GOST 21650 and GOST 26663.
When mechanized loading and unloading is allowed weight of cargo space up to 2000 kg. Weight of cargo space in covered wagons should not exceed 1250 kg.
1.4.3, 1.5 (Amendment IUS 9−98).
2. ACCEPTANCE
2.1. Sheets and strip, take parties. The party should consist of sheets or strips to one brand of copper, one size and one material condition and furnished by a single document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
designation sheets or strips;
the weight of the party;
the results of the tests (at the request of the consumer).
2.2. To check the chemical composition select two sheets, two strips or two boxes of each complete and incomplete 5000 kg batch.
The manufacturer may inspect the chemical composition of samples from the molten metal.
2.3. Control the width, length, surface quality, the cutting is subjected to a skew of 1% of the sheets or strips of the party, but not less than 10 sheets.
2.4. To control the thickness of the sheets and strips are used single-stage normal sampling plan on an alternative basis in accordance with GOST 18242* acceptance level of defects is 2.5%. The selection of sheets and strips in the sample is carried out in accordance with the table.11 «blind» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321.

The number of controlled points on each selected sheet or strip is determined depending on the total number of parcels with a length of 100 mm along the perimeter of the sheet or strip at the table.12.
When the length of the perimeter of the non-multiple 100 mm end section of a length less than 100 mm is taken for one site.
The batch is rejected if the number of defective sheets (strips) in the sample that do not meet the requirements of table.1, 4, 5 and 9, greater than or equal to the acceptance number given in table.12.

Allowed the manufacturer if unsatisfactory result to hold total control.
2.5. Allowed the manufacturer the quality control of surfaces and sizes to carry out the production process while ensuring compliance with quality sheets and strips with the requirements of this standard.
2.6. To check flatness and camber of each 1000 kg batch select two sheets, two lanes or two boxes.
2.7. For tensile tests and bending take two sheets, two lanes or two boxes every full or partial 1,000 kg batch of cold-rolled sheets or strips and 5000 kg batch of hot-rolled sheets.
2.8. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators of flatness, camber, tensile tests, bending and chemical composition it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample taken from the same batch.
The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
3. CONTROL METHODS
3.1. Surface inspection of plates and strips is carried out without the use of magnifying devices.
3.2. Measuring the thickness of sheets and strips is carried out at a minimum distance of 100 mm from the vertex of the angle and not less than 15 mm from the edge.
Measuring the thickness of sheets and strips is carried out with a micrometer according to GOST 6507.
The results of measuring the thickness of sheet and strip, do not correspond to the limit deviations, given in table.1, 4, 5 and 9, shall not differ by more than half of the tolerance field.
Control the thickness of the sheets and strips is carried out with a given probability of 96%.
Allowed the manufacturer to control the thickness of the sheets and strips during the production process by other means of measurement, to ensure the necessary accuracy.
3.3. Measurement of the width and length of the bands is carried out metal measuring tape according to GOST 7502.
3.4. Camber, warpage, deflection and cosine of the cut sheets and strips determine the churchyard 26877.
3.5. For tensile testing from each selected sheet or strip cut one sample.
Selection of samples for tensile tests carried out according to GOST 24047 along the axis of rolling.
Tensile test of sheets and strips is carried out according to GOST 11701 the samples of a type I or II for sheets or strips with a thickness less than 0.5 mm =12.5 mm and =4, for sheets and strips of a thickness of 0,5−2,5 mm =20; 12,5 and 15 mm and with a =11,3.
Tensile test of sheets and strips is carried out according to GOST 1497 on samples of type I and type II, for sheet and strips with thickness 3,0 — 7,0 mm =11,3and =20 mm for sheets of thickness 8.0 mm and over =of 11.3and a =30 mm.
3.6. The bend test is carried out on demand of the consumer according to GOST 14019.
Samples for bend test are cut along the rolling.
Samples for bend test of deoxidized copper should otjihase in a hydrogen medium at 800−850°C for 30 min.
3.7. To check the chemical composition of selected single sheet or strip from each selected box.
Each check sheet or strip is taken one sample. Selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis according to GOST 24231. Chemical composition is determined by GOST 25086, GOST 9717.1 — GOST 9717.3, GOST 13938.1 — GOST 13938.13.
3.8. Allowed by agreement between manufacturer and user to apply statistical methods to control width, length, surface quality, mechanical properties, camber and skew the cut.
3.9. Allowed the manufacturer to use other methods of control and measurement tools, providing the necessary accuracy.
If there is disagreement in the definition of indicators monitoring is carried out by the methods specified in the standard.
4. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
4.1. Sheets and strip transporterowych by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this species.
Stowage and securing of cargoes transported by rail, must comply with «Technical conditions of loading and securing of goods», approved by the Ministry of Railways of the USSR.
Sheets and strips intended for Maritime transport, transporterowych in accordance with GOST 26653.
Transportation and packaging of products in far North regions or equated areas — according to GOST 15846.
4.2. Leaves and stripes are kept indoors in conditions preventing them from mechanical damage and contamination of moisture and active chemical substances. Under these conditions, the properties of plates and strips do not change.
