This standard applies to wire round and square section of kremniyorganika of bronze for the manufacture of elastic elements.

The requirements of sec. 1, 2 (except item 2.10), 3, 4 and 5 of this standard are mandatory.

1. ASSORTMENT

1.1. The diameter of the round wire and limit deviation shall be as specified in table.1.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

2.1. Wire produced in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.

Wire should produce from bronze marks Brkmc3−1 with the chemical composition according to GOST 18175−78.

2.2. Wire shall be manufactured in hard (unannealed) condition.

2.3. The surface of the wire must be clean, smooth, without shells, cracks, cavities, delamination, scratches, nicks.

On the surface are not allowed defects with depth greater than (after Stripping control) tolerances for diameter.

2.4. Mechanical properties the wire shall conform to the requirements specified in table.3.

2.5. Kink the wire should be uniform, without foreign inclusions, delaminations, cavities, voids and other defects.

2.6. The wire should withstand at least three bends.

2.7. The wire shall withstand the test winding.

Round wire shall withstand a winding of ten turns on a cylindrical rod with a diameter equal to twice the wire diameter, but not less than 1 mm, square — the winding of ten turns on a cylindrical rod with a diameter equal to triple the diameter of the wire.

When winding the wire does not have to give cracks, delamination, tears and fractures.

2.8. The wire should be folded into coils or wound on a coil right separatornyi rows. The ends of the wire on the coils should be firmly fixed.

2.9. Each coil (coil) must consist of one piece of wire without splices and knots.

2.10. The mass of the segment of wire on a reel (spool) is given in the mandatory Annex 3.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. Wire take parties. The party should consist of wire of the same cross-section size, the same accuracy of manufacture and executed by one document about quality that contains:

trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;

symbol wire;

the net mass of wire;

batch number;

the results of the tests (at the request of the consumer);

the number of seats.

The weight of the batch shall not exceed 1000 kg.

3.2. To control the size and surface quality of wire used in single-stage normal sampling plan for the alternative characteristic in accordance with GOST 18242−72 with the acceptance level of defects is 2.5%. The sampling plan given in table.4. Selection of wire in the sample is carried out «blindly» (by the greatest objectivity) according to GOST 18321−73.

The party is considered usable if the number of coils (coils) with measurements that do not correspond to the requirements of table.1 and 2.3, less than the acceptance number given in table.4.

Allowed the manufacturer to carry out continuous control of surface quality and dimensions of the wire.

At the customer’s request quality control of the surface and the size of the wire is subjected to each coil (coil).

Allowed the manufacturer to control the quality of the surface and the size of wire in the production process.

3.2. To check mechanical properties and fracture and test the inflection and winding from each party select three coils or three coils.

The test fracture is subjected to a wire with a diameter of not less than 2.0 mm. Checking the bend is subjected to a wire diameter from 0,8 to 6,0 mm inclusive.

3.3. For chemical analysis taken two rolls or coils from the party. On the manufacturer is allowed to carry out the sampling from the molten metal.

3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators (except for surface quality and size) on it, repeat tests are carried out at twice the sample taken from the same batch.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. Visual examination of the wire is produced without the use of magnifying devices.

4.2. Wire diameter is measured in two mutually perpendicular directions of the same cross-section in at least two different sections of a coil with a micrometer according to GOST 6507−90 or device, providing the appropriate precision.

If there is disagreement in the determination of wire diameter measurement is carried out with a micrometer according to GOST 6507−90.

4.3. Test wire tensile carried out on samples with an estimated length of 100 mm according to GOST 10446−80.

The selection and preparation of samples for testing of tensile — according to GOST 24047−80.

From each of the selected coils or coils selected based on one sample.

4.4. To obtain the fracture wire is incised to a depth of no more than 1/3 of its diameter and break off at the notches.

4.7. Selection and preparation of samples for the determination of chemical composition is carried out according to GOST 24231−80.

The chemical composition of the wire is determined according to GOST 15027.1−77 — GOST 15027.12−77. Allowed to determine the chemical composition by other methods of equal accuracy standard.

5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Round wire with a diameter of less than 0.5 mm should be on the coils, with a diameter of 0.5 mm or more in coils. Square wire should be only in reels.

5.2. Each skein must be tied symmetrically in at least two places with a wire according to GOST 3282−74.

5.3. Coils of wire of the same cross-sectional shape, one diameter and one precision manufacturing needs to be associated in the Bay. Mass bays should be no more than 80 kg.

Each Bay should be tied with soft wire according to GOST 3282−74 in at least three places with paper gasket in the field dressings.

5.4. For each coil (coils) or coil shall be securely attached a label according to GOST 14192−77.

To the coil (coils) the label shall be affixed by a wire according to GOST 3282−74. On the reel label must be affixed.

Labels should clearly indicate:

the name or trademark of the manufacturer;

symbol wire;

batch number;

weight gross and net.

5.5. Bay, coils and coil wire diameter of 1 mm or less, must be Packed in tight wooden boxes of types I, II, III according to GOST 2991−85 lined with one or two layers of paper according to GOST 9569−79 or GOST 8828−89, or one layer of cardboard according to GOST 7376−89. Bay, loops of wire with a diameter of more than 1 mm should be covered with synthetic or nonwoven material according to normative-technical documentation and tied in at least two places (symmetrically) wire according to GOST 3282−74 with a paper spacer in places of ligation.

By agreement with the consumer allowed to use other boxes and other dressings and packing materials, strength is not inferior to the above and ensure the safety of the products.

Weight of cargo must not exceed 80 kg.

Consolidation packages in overpacks shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 26663−85. The size of the cargo packages according to GOST 24597−81. Means bonding in the transport packets according to GOST 21650−76. The transport packages shall be sealed in longitudinal and transverse directions according to GOST 3282−74.

Allowed manual method of packaging.

Allowed the transport of wire in universal containers according to GOST 18477−79.

During transportation in railway containers according to GOST 22225−76 wire in rolls (bays) with a diameter of 1 mm and less should be wrapped in paper according to GOST 9569−79 or GOST 8828−89 without packaging in boxes, wire diameter more than 1 mm — without packing in synthetic or non-woven materials.

Packing of wire in the far North and remote areas — according to GOST 15846−79.

5.6. Transport marking — according to GOST 14192−77.

Transport marking shall be marked on the label.

Allowed to affix directly to packaging.

5.7. In each drawer must be attached packing list, which specify:

trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;

symbol wire;

the gross and net weight;

batch number.

5.8. Wire transporterowych by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this species. Rail wire transporterowych small and light shipments.

5.9. When storing the wire should be protected from mechanical damage, moisture and active chemical reagents. Under specified storage conditions consumer properties of the wire during storage are not changed.
