Introduction


Established in this standard the terms are arranged in a systematic manner, reflecting the system concepts in this field of knowledge. For each concept has a single standardized term.

Given the definition, you can optionally change by entering into derivative signs revealing the meaning of used terms, pointing to objects in the volume defined concepts. Changes must not violate the scope and content of concepts defined in this standard.

The standard lists the standardized foreign-language equivalents of terms in English (en) language.

1 Scope

1.1 this standard specifies the main terms used when working with scrap and waste of nonferrous metals and alloys, as well as the definitions of these terms.

1.2 the Terms set out in this standard, it is recommended to use in legal, regulatory, technical and organizational and administrative documentation, scientific, educational and reference literature.

2 Terms and definitions

2.1 secondary metallurgy of nonferrous metals:nonferrous metals industry Subsector conducting the procurement and processing of scrap and waste of nonferrous metals and alloys and their melting in metallurgical units with the use of additional materials or special technological regimes with the aim of changing the structure of the metal, bringing its chemical composition to the parameters corresponding to requirements of normative documents on brand-ferrous metals and their alloys with certain technological and operational properties.

2.2 non-ferrous metals: The direct use of the product or parts of products containing non-ferrous metals or their alloys, which by the owner of lost operational value as a result of physical or mental deterioration.

2.3 non-ferrous metal waste: Waste in the manufacture of products from nonferrous metals and alloys, and also products from non-ferrous metals and alloys having a fatal marriage arising in the production process.

C) a document on decontamination (if necessary);

g) the document on the disposal of harmful chemicals (if necessary).

2.7 waste management: Actions aimed at waste prevention, collection, transportation, storage, treatment, disposal, removal, decontamination and disposal, including control over these operations and the monitoring of the places of removal.

2.16 low-quality scrap and waste recycling:Scrap and wastes of nonferrous metals and alloys that do not meet the requirements for the grades of major groups, but are used for further processing.

2.17 hazardous waste and scrap: waste and Scrap of non-ferrous metals and alloys, which contain explosive and flammable substances, hermetically sealed and hollow objects containing ice and moisture, as well as the scrap and wastes of nonferrous metals and alloys that do not pass a pyrotechnic control.
