1. This standard specifies the classification of the weld metals at the basic physical, technical and technological characteristics.
2. Basic features and steps of the classification are given in table. 1.

1. Diffusion welding can be carried out with the use of most energy sources used in welding metals, but stands as an independent type of welding for a relatively prolonged exposure to elevated temperature and slight plastic deformation.
