REPRINTING. January 1980

1. This standard applies to fluxes used in brazing, and establishes their classification according to the following criteria:

the temperature interval activity;

the nature of the solvent:

the nature of the activator determines the action;

mechanism of action;

the state of aggregation.

2. Depending on the temperature interval activity soldering fluxes are divided into:

low-temperature (ГОСТ 19250-73 Флюсы паяльные. Классификация450 °C);

high temperature (> 450 °C).

3. The nature of the solvent soldering fluxes are divided into:

water;

non-aqueous.

4. The nature of the activator determines the action of low-temperature soldering fluxes are divided into:

rosin;

acid;

halogenide;

hydrazine;

perborate;

aniline;

stearic.

5. The nature of the activator determines the action of high temperature soldering fluxes are divided into:

halogenide;

perborate;

the boride-carbon dioxide.

5.1. In the name of the flux containing several activators, must be called by all activators. For example, rosin-halogenides, perborate-galogennye flux.

6. Mechanism of action of soldering fluxes are divided into:

protective;

chemical action;

electrochemical action;

jet.

7. On the state of aggregation soldering fluxes are divided into:

solid;

liquid;

pasty.
