1 Scope
This standard covers rolled sheet of low carbon steel with zinc, gelezinkelis, zincaluminum and zincaluminum the coatings deposited by continuous immersion in the melt (hereinafter — galvanized steel). Galvanized steel intended for the manufacture of shaped, stamped and welded products and metal products methods of bending and connection to the castle.
Galvanized steel can be used as the basis for the production of sheet metal with polymeric coating according to GOST R 52146 and standard [1].
Corrosion protection obtained by coatings, is proportional to the mass or thickness of the coating. Application of building structures made of galvanized steel depending on the corrosivity of gaseous, liquid, solid, organic environments at temperatures from minus 50 °C to 50 °C is established in the code of rules SP 28.13330, indicative the weight loss of zinc coating per year of operation in atmospheres of different corrosivity given in the standard [2].
