2.4. Edge tapes must not have cracks, flaws and delaminations. Not allowed burrs are bigger than the limit deviation on thickness.

2.5. The surface of the tape should correspond to the third group according to GOST 503, roughness class ГОСТ 8851-75 Лента из стали марок 11кп и 11ЮА. Технические условия (с Изменениями N 1-3)1.25 to 2.0 micrometers. By agreement with the consumer allowed the color of the tint.

2.6. (Deleted, Rev. N 3).

2.7. The contamination of steel 11JUA non-metallic inclusions shall not exceed:

the oxides of stroke (OS) — score 3;

the sulphides (A) — 3 points.

Allowed on a single sample contamination by sulfides no more than 4 points.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES

3.1. The ribbon take parties. The party should consist of tape one melting, one species of manufacture (rolls or segments), one annealing and accompanied by a quality document, issued in accordance with GOST 7566.

The mass of the party must be at least 2 t

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

3.2. The appearance inspection, surface roughness and size shall be subjected to each roll or segment of the tape, and when the automatic flow control — two rolls of ribbon from the party.

From the party of the ribbon should be selected:

to check strength and relative elongation after rupture — two rolls (upper and lower row — after annealing of the ribbon) or six segments of the tape (from lower, middle and upper range after annealing of the tape) — from the manufacturer; any two of a coil or two cut strips from each ton of the party — the consumer;

for inspection of non-metallic inclusions — two rolls (upper and lower range after annealing of the tape), or three pieces of ribbon (from the upper, middle and lower row — after annealing of the tape) — from the manufacturer; any two roll from the party or one segment of the tape from each ton of tape — the consumer.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2, 3).

3.3. For cutting and compression caps across the width of the tape taken by two segments of length 2 m from the two rolls of each batch or two cut strips from tons. Produce cutting across the width of the tape. Convolution of caps produced by the instrument made by the manufacturer.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

3.4. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of samples taken from other bands of the same party.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4. TEST METHODS

4.1. The measurement of the thickness of the tape is produced automatically in the stream or on the second or third turns of the coil and on all segments of the tape with a micrometer with an accuracy of at least 0,01 mm at a distance of not less than 50 mm from the end and not less than 10 mm from the side edge. Produce measurements at three points along the length and at two points in width. The measurement of the width of the tape produces a stepped bracket with a limiting size. When checking thicknesses, the consumer party is considered to be appropriate to the requirements of this standard if 20 of the measurements made in 1 m of the roll, one result has a tolerance of ±0.01 mm.

4.2. Quality control of the surface and the edges of the belt is carried out visually on the second and third coils of the roll and on all segments of the tape.

4.1, 4.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

4.3. Surface roughness is determined according to GOST 2789 by profilometer-profilograph periodically by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer.

4.4. Check on the contamination of non-metallic inclusions is carried out by ø2 churchyard 1778.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).

4.5. (Deleted, Rev. N 3).

4.6. The mechanical properties determined according to GOST 11701 on the sample cut along the direction of rolling according to GOST 7564.

4.7. The tape test for felling and convolution caps. The number of defective caps should not exceed 0.4% of all deforested caps batch-annealing. Bundles are not allowed.

The specified test may be omitted if the manufacturer guarantees that the quality of the tape in accordance with the requirements of this standard.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).

4.8. To check the microstructure of each of the selected roll or cut the tape cut along the direction of rolling one sample from the middle of the width of the tape. Size of samples for micro-sections should be 30x40 mm with a thickness equal to the thickness of the tape. Side of the sample, equal to 30 mm, should be located along the direction of rolling.

(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).

4.9. To check for the presence of non-metallic inclusions are selected six samples from the middle part in the width of the tape. Allowed to make the test on samples selected for evaluation of the microstructure.

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

5.1. Marking, packaging, transportation and storage — by GOST 7566. Transport marking under GOST 14192.

5.2. The surface of the tape rolls and cuts should be covered with oil according to GOST 20799. The tape should be wound in coils with outer diameter 600 to 900 mm.

Segments of the tape have to be stacked in bundles weighing from 2 to 5 tons size 1300х750х500 mm each. Coils and bundles must be tied with wire according to GOST 3282 diameter not less 3 mm or tape according to GOST 3560 size 1х30 mm.

Rolls transporterowych in specialized metal containers.

Bundles prior to strapping tape or wire is wrapped on all sides with sheets of black plate with a thickness of 0.5 mm. Bundles tied with three strips in the two transverse and longitudinal directions.

Packaging rolls in bundles weighing up to 3 tons every 3−5 rolls in a bundle. The bond rolls are made in conjunction with tape in three places.

A bunch of coils wrapped in waterproof according to GOST 9569* or wax paper according to GOST 8273 or polymer film according to GOST 10354.
