1 Scope
This standard applies to hot-rolled steel strip rental (hereafter rental) General-purpose steel band hire for nuts with a thickness of 4 to 80 mm inclusive and a width of from 10 to 200 mm inclusive.
2 Classification. Basic parameters and dimensions
2.1 rentals are divided as follows:
— by appointment:
overall — IT;
for hot forging of nuts — GSHG;
for cold forming of nuts HSG;
— accuracy rolling:
thickness:
high — БТ1, BT2, БТ3;
normal — VT1, ВТ2, VT3;
width:
high — БШ1, БШ2, БШ3;
normal — ВШ1, ВШ2, ВШ3;
length:
dimensional — MD;
measuring with non-standard length — MD1;
dimensional — CD;
dimensional with random length — КД1;
random — ND;
limited within the random — OD;
limited from the random length — EA1;
rolls — RD;

In the supply of rental with dimensional random length (MD1) dimensional with random length (КД1) and bounded by random length (EA1) is allowed rental of random length not more than 5% of the batch weight.

2.4.1 hire with precision rolling ВТ2 (table 2) allowed to produce with plus the marginal variance equal to the sum of limit deviations for thickness (VT3).
2.4.2 At the request of the consumer (the agreed specifications) products with thickness more than 16 mm to 20 mm inclusive manufactured with extreme deviations in thickness ±0.30 mm (БТ3).
2.5 tolerances for the width of the rolled General purpose and for hot forging of nuts should not exceed the values given in table 3.

2.5.1. Hire with precision rolling ВШ2 (table 3) allowed to produce with plus the marginal variance equal to the sum of limit deviations on width (ВШ3).
2.5.2. At the request of the consumer (the agreed specifications) hire of width from 12 to 40 mm inclusive manufactured with extreme deviation width ±0.50 mm (БШ3).
2.6 tolerances for the thickness and width of rolled products for cold forming of nuts should not exceed the values given in table 4.

2.7 Convexity or concavity of the side faces of the hire shall not exceed extreme deviations in width.
2.8 hire produce long:
— from 2 to 12 m inclusive — from commercial quality carbon steel, low alloy and phosphorous;
— from 2 to 6 m, inclusive — from quality carbon steel and alloy steel.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer (the agreed specifications) hire produce off-gage length within the limits from 3 to 13 m, inclusive, with 10% of bars from the batch weight can have a lesser length but not less than 75% of the minimum length.
2.9 maximum deviations made on the length of hire exact or multiple lengths shall not exceed the values given in table 5.

2.11 Blunting of corners for rental of the group WU should not exceed 0.2 thickness, but not more than 3 mm.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer (the agreed specifications) blunting of the corners to hire a BU group of thickness greater than 4 mm should not exceed the values given in table 6.

2.14 the cross-sectional Shape is determined in two ways: by the difference of the diagonals or deviation from the right angle. Method of control selects the manufacturer and specifies in the instrument of quality.
