2.3. On the surface of the tape should be free of flaws and delamination. Allowed a thin layer of scale, small prints, risks, and small slivers, and the presence of technological lubricant.
On the edges of the tape allowed the individual dents with the size not more than half of the limit deviations on width of the tape.
2.4. By agreement between manufacturer and consumer tape is manufactured with a camber not exceeding 5 mm per 1 m length.
2.5. The tape shall be manufactured in rolls. The mass of the coil is:
for the tape width of 15−20 mm, from 20 to 80 kg;
for tape of a width more than 20 mm from 40 to 200 kg.
Allowed the rolls of tape weighing not less than 5 kg in an amount of 15% of the party.
2.4; 2.5. (Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. The ribbon take parties. The party should consist of strips of the same size, condition of material, same manufacturing precision and be accompanied by a document about quality that contains:
trademark or the name and trademark of manufacturer;
the symbol of the tape;
the results of the tests;
the weight of the party;
the number of coils or packages;
batch number.
3.2. Check appearance, dimensions and mechanical properties subjected to 1% rolls of the party, but at least two rolls.
3.3. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators for him to repeat the test at twice the number of samples taken from the rolls that hasn’t been tested.
The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
3.1−3.3. (Changed edition, Rev. N 2, 3).
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. Tape dimensions and size of defects on the edges of the belt should be checked with a micrometer (GOST 6507, GOST 4381), caliper (GOST 166) and other measuring instruments of appropriate accuracy.
The measurement of the thickness of the tape is carried out at a distance of not less than 10 mm from the edge, and ribbons of a width less than 20 mm in the middle of its width.
4.2. Quality control of surfaces and edges is carried out visually by 2−5 spiral coil.
4.1; 4.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 4).
4.3. From each selected roll of tape cut one sample for each test.
(Added, Rev. N 2).
4.3. The tensile test is conducted on samples of type I or type II according to GOST 11701.
Allowed test strips with a width of 20 mm or more to spend on samples with an initial estimated length =80mm and width =20 mm, and the test tape of a width of less than 20 mm carried out on samples having a width equal to the width of the tape manufactured with the initial calculated specimen length =4.
Samples for test cut out along the direction of rolling.
4.4. Check camber by aligning the edges of the sample tape with a length of 1 m with a straight line, while measurements are made with a ruler according to GOST 427 in the place of greatest curvature.
4.3; 4.4. (Changed edition, Rev. N 4).
5. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. Each roll must be tied up in at least three areas of the soft metal ribbon or wire. By agreement with the consumer allowed other ways of fastening the turns of the tape roll preventing unwinding, according to GOST 3560, GOST 3282 or other regulatory-technical documentation.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
5.2. The tape is transported by packets according to GOST 24597, GOST 21650 on pallets and rolls without lubrication and packaging.
Packaging to produce one of the following methods:
the rolls are laid on wooden or metal pallets in the stack weight up to 1.25 t and attach to the pallet with four metal bands according to GOST 3560 or other normative technical documentation;
the coils are placed in the stop mass up to 5 t, wrap a metal sheet made according to normative-technical documentation, and firmly secured the vertical arrangement of coils in at least two transverse and one longitudinal metal strips of tape according to GOST 3560, or other regulatory-technical documentation (see drawing).
1 — paper waterproof; 2 — sheet metal;
3 — wooden pallet; 4 — metal strip
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer on the ribbon to apply a protective lubricant with the subsequent packing:
coils wrapped with a layer of paper, then a layer of polymeric film or fabric and tied in at least three places by a flexible wire or tape according to GOST 3282, GOST 3560, or other regulatory-technical documentation.
The quality of packaging materials used:

container holstoproshivny canvas — according to normative-technical documentation;
other materials, excluding the application of cotton and linen fabrics and does not deteriorate the quality of a stitched flap from the waste of the textile industry.
As lubricant used:
a mixture of GSD and industrial oil according to GOST 20799 in the ratio of 1:1 mixture of the preservative oil NG-203A for OST 38.01436 and industrial oil according to GOST 20799 in the ratio 1:1, industrial oil according to GOST 20799 +15% additive AKOR-1 GOST 15171 or other types of preservative oils or mixtures with a different ratio of components, protective properties which are equivalent to those listed.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2, 3, 4).
5.3. Is linking multiple rolls. The total width of the associated coils in this case should not exceed 250 mm; compliance with the requirements of section 5.1 this necessarily. By agreement with the consumer allowed other ways of packing tape to ensure its safety during storage and transportation, and excludes its corrosion.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 4).
