This standard applies to the tape surfacing electrode sintered iron-based, manufactured by powder metallurgy and applied for mechanized welding of large products (Appendix A).
1 Technical requirements
1.1 Tape shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard technological process, approved in a prescribed manner.
1.2 Tape made from powders of iron and steels by addition of alloying elements in the form of metal powders, ferro-alloys, graphite, etc.
Brand and chemical composition should conform to the standards specified in table 1 for tapes intended for electric arc welding, and table 2 for tapes designed for electroslag welding.

1.3 the thickness of the strip should be (1,0±0,2) mm in width from 30 to 60 mm (0,8±0,2) mm with a width of 60 mm.
1.4 the Width of the tape and limit deviations on width shall be as specified in table 3.

1.5 the tensile strength of the tape on the gap should be not less than 100 N/mm(10 kgf/mm).
1.6 the tape Surface should be smooth, should not have cracks and rust. On the surface of the tape is not allowed: the oxide film dark purple color of a width exceeding 25% of the width of the tape; fingerprints of the rolls, bringing the ribbon over the limit deviation on thickness.
1.7 Edge of the tape should be trimmed evenly. On the edges of the belt are not allowed more than two digs to a depth of 2.0 mm and a length of more than 20 mm per 1 m length of the tape.
1.8 the Tape should be flat. The deviation from flatness of the strip on the length 1 meter in the transverse direction shall be not more than 1.0 mm.
1.9 Camber tape widths from 30 to 60 mm shall not exceed 5 mm per 1 m length, belt width over 60 mm to 4 mm per 1 m length.
1.10 the Tape shall be supplied in coils with inner diameter from 300 to 320 mm.
By agreement with the consumer allowed to change the size of the inner diameter of the tape roll.
1.11 the Coil should consist of a single piece of tape length of at least 40 m.
Coil weight should not exceed 60 kg.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer is possible to supply the strip with length less than 40 m, but no shorter than 20 m not more than 10% of the mass of the party.
1.12 Tape, rolled into a roll, must be able to withstand straightening without breaking and cracking.
2 safety Requirements and environmental protection
2.1 the requirements of this section must be included in developing technological rules for a particular brand of tape electrode sintered iron-based, as in the text should be relevant links.
2.1.1 safety Requirements and environmental protection on a particular brand can be specified and supplemented in connection with the introduction of technology production and use of a particular brand of tape new of harmful components, new grades not previously used equipment.
2.2 On a particular brand of tape in the regulations must be reported actual gross discharge welding aerosols at welding this strip to the optimal and forced modes of welding.
2.2.1 Studies of gross allocations must be made in accordance with the guidelines of «Hygienic evaluation of welding consumables and methods of welding, surfacing and cutting of metals» N 1924−78 of the Ministry of health of the USSR and the «Methodical instructions on determination of harmful substances in welding aerosol (solid phase and gases)» N 4945−88Минздрава of the USSR.
2.2.2 test Results are recorded in tables (sample tables 4, 5 below).

2.3 When working with tapes surfacing electrode the content of harmful substances in the air of working zone shall not exceed the MPC according to GOST
2.4 all processes in the manufacture of any brand of strips and their use for surfacing subject to the requirements of GOST 12.3.003 operating sanitary rules for the enterprises for the production of welding materials N 1451−76 of the USSR Ministry of health,"Sanitary rules of organization of technological processes and hygienic requirements to production equipment"*, «Sanitary rules during welding, cutting, overlaying welding of metals», Ministry of health of the USSR.

2.5 Tape surfacing electrode sintered iron-based storage is the source of toxic substances and other harmful factors.
2.6 Surfacing tape surfacing electrode sintered iron-based accompanied by the following dangerous and harmful production factors:
— air pollution welding spray;
— thermal radiation in the infrared range;
— spattering of molten metal;
— dangerous voltage levels in an electrical circuit in the workplace, the circuit which might occur through the human body.
2.7 the Required quality of the air environment in the working area of the operator depending on the level of contamination shall be ensured through the use of General ventilation, local suction, and respiratory protection according to regulatory documents on the use of personal respiratory protection, approved in the prescribed manner. The RPD must comply with GOST
2.8 Organization of workplaces of welders shall conform to the requirements of GOST 12.2.033 and used welding equipment and tools to meet the requirements of GOST 22269, GOST 22614 of the system «Man-machine».
2.9 For the protection of workers from welding arc radiation in the visible, ultraviolet and infrared regions should be applied shields welder according to GOST 12.4.035* with protective filters according to the normative documentation approved in the established order.

2.10 Overalls for welders must reliably protect them from spatter weld metal, moisture, harmful radiation and other factors of production environment and meet the requirements of normative documentation approved in the established order.
2.11 Welding shall be performed in compliance with the «Rules of technical operation of electrical installations of consumers and safety regulations in the operation of electrical installations*", approved by Gosenergonadzor USSR April 12, 1969, with additions and changes from 1971, «Standard safety regulations for industrial enterprises» approved by the USSR Ministry of internal Affairs on 25 August 1954 and requirements elektroprenos security provided 12.1.019 GOST and GOST 12.1.004, respectively.

2.12 For the protection of atmospheric air from contamination by harmful substances produced during the welding works shall be provided for activities in accordance with the requirements of GOST 12.2.032 and «Guidelines for the calculation of atmospheric dispersion of industrial emissions of Gosstroy of the USSR OND the f-86».
3 Acceptance
3.1 To check the conformity of the tape to the requirements of this standard, the manufacturing enterprise must carry out acceptance tests of each batch of tape.
3.2 the Party should consist of a ribbon made from batch one batch, and be accompanied by a document about quality that contains:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the symbol of the tape;
— test results;
— the batch number;
— the weight of the batch;
— number of coils;
— the date of manufacture.
The weight of the batch shall be not more than 1000 kg.
3.3 To verify the indicators of the quality of the tape is taken 10% of the coils from the party (by weight), but at least two rolls.
3.4 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators it is carried out re-tests on twice the number of coils of the number of passed tests.
Repeated tests are final.
4 test Methods
4.1 appearance of each roll is checked visually.
For testing of the selected coils selected based on one block from start and end of each roll. Workpiece length must be at least 1 m.
4.2 Sampling for chemical analysis according to GOST 7565. The chemical composition of the tape in accordance with the standards «of Steel alloyed and high alloy. Methods of chemical analysis»: GOST 12344, 12345 GOST, GOST 12347, 12350 GOST, GOST 12352,12354 series GOST, GOST 12356, 12360 GOST.

4.3 the Thickness of the tape is checked with a micrometer according to GOST 6507. Measurements are made at three points situated 250 mm from each other along the axis of the tape.
4.4 the Width of the tape check a caliper according to GOST 166. Measurements are made at three places along the length at a distance of 250 mm from each other.
4.5 the Test strip in tension is carried out according to GOST 11701. For the test from the raw material taken three samples with a length of 300−350 mm.

4.6 surface Quality of the tape is checked visually, without the use of magnifying devices, when winding the tape into a roll.
4.7 Control of the strip edges is carried out visually. The size of the tears is determined by Vernier caliper according to GOST 166.
4.8 the Deviation from flatness of the tape is determined according to the method a slit of light with the help of the circle line according to GOST 8026 and a set of probes according to normative documentation approved in the established order.
On the blank tape in the free state in the transverse direction with no effort to impose a radial line, basing it on the edges of the belt. The measurement is performed in at least three points along the length of the workpiece.
4.9 To determine the camber of the workpiece tape a sample taken with a length of 1 m. the Beginning and the end of the sample is aligned with the edge of the metal ruler with a length of 1 m according to GOST 427 or plates according to GOST 10905. The measurement is performed in the place of the greatest curvature of the ruler according to GOST 427 or other measuring means corresponding to the accuracy.
4.10 the Inner diameter of the coils check the scale ruler according to GOST 427.
4.11 Signs of damage and crack formation is determined visually after pressing of the workpiece tape to a flat plate and its rectification.
4.12 the length of the piece of tape in the coil is defined as the quotient of its mass to the mass of 1 meter of this ribbon.
5 Marking, packing, transportation, storage
5.1 Each roll of tape should be tied in the radial direction in at least three places with one turn of wire of diameter 1.0 to 1.6 mm according to GOST 3282. The twisted ends of the wire should be inside the roll. The outer turn of tape should be fastened at a distance of not more than 30 mm from the end of the tape.
5.2 the Rolls must be wrapped in anti-corrosive wrapping paper churchyard 16295, then the polyethylene film according to GOST 10354 or other waterproof material.
5.3 the Wrapped rolls Packed in metal containers according to GOST 14861. The coils are placed on each other in the foot and when Packed in containers of the type 1−1-120−80−75−1,00 M fix wooden spacers, placed between the feet. The net weight of the tape, Packed in metal containers, should not exceed the capacity of the container. Packaging wrapped in rolls of tape in wooden boxes of type U-1 according to GOST 2991, lined inside with polyethylene film according to GOST 10354. The net weight of the tape, Packed in wooden boxes must not exceed 60 kg, gross weight — 70 kg.
5.4 To each coil in the internal coil and packing the place from the outside is attached a tag which indicates:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— the symbol of the tape;
— date of manufacture;
— the stamp of the technical control Department.

5.5 Tape is transported by any transport in covered vehicles or open the rolling stock in the universal uniform containers of the type CMX-3, CMX-5 according to GOST 18477 in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.
5.6 Storing the packaged tape in the impact of climatic factors should correspond to the storage conditions 3 according to GOST 15150.
Tape is stored in closed warehouses at ambient humidity not exceeding 80% and ambient atmosphere oxidizing substances in packing, under the requirements of this standard.
5.7 the Packaging, transportation and storage of the tapes for the far North or equivalent — according to GOST 15846*.

6 the manufacturer’s Warranty
6.1 the Manufacturer guarantees the surfacing electrode sintered tape based on iron requirements of this standard, under the conditions of transportation and storage prescribed by this standard.
Warranty period of storage is set 1 year from the date of manufacture of the tape.
