4. The expiration time limit is removed by the Resolution of Gosstandart of the USSR from
5. EDITION with Amendments No. 1, 2 approved in November 1981, September 1986 (ИУС2−82, 11−86)
1. This standard applies to steel pipe manufacturing high precision cold after conversion and after hot rolling.
The standard fully complies ST SEV 1483−78 and ISO 4200.
2. Dimensions and weight of 1 m steel hot-rolled pipes shall be as specified in table.1, cold rolled and cold drawn — in table.2.

3. Depending on the ratio of the outer diameter and wall thickness , cold-formed pipes are manufactured:
extremely thin-walled — with more 40 and 20 mm in diameter and with a wall less than 0.5 mm and less;
thin walled — in from 12.5 to 40 incl. and a diameter of 20 mm and with a wall less than 1.5 mm;
thick-walled — in from 6 to 12.5;
isobutylidene — if less than 6.
4. Hot rolled pipes are manufactured:
random lengths from 4 to 12 m;
lengths from 4 to 8 m;
dimensional length — up to 8 m with an allowance for each cut is 5 mm; at the request of the user can be installed the other stock.
Pipe lengths of over 8 m are made by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
Maximum deviation along the length of the pipe dimensional and multiple lengths shall be +15 mm.
5. Cold-deformed pipes are manufactured:
random lengths — from 1 to 11.5 m;
lengths from 4.5 to 9 m;
dimensional length — up to 9 m with allowance for each cut is 5 mm; at the request of the user can be installed the other stock.
Maximum deviation along the length of the pipe dimensional and multiple lengths shall be +10 mm.
Note. By agreement with the consumer it is allowed manufacture of pipes with length more than 11.5 mm*.

6. Maximum rejections of sizes of pipes shall not exceed:

the outside diameter
±0.10 mm for disc diameter up to 30 mm incl.,
±0.15 mm for disc diameter from 32 to 40 mm incl.,
±0.20 mm — at diameter from 42 to 50 mm incl.,
±0.25 mm — at diameter from 51 to 60 mm incl.,
±0,30 mm for disc diameter from 63 to 70 mm incl.,
±0.35 mm for disc diameter from 73 to 80 mm cyl.,
±0.40 mm for disc diameter from 83 to 90 mm incl.,
±0.45 mm when the diameter of 95 to 108 mm incl.,
Mm ±0.50 mm for disc diameter from 110 to 120 mm incl.,
±0,8% — with a diameter of 130 mm and more;

When the supply of cold-deformed tubes with the ratio equal to 50 and over in the annealed condition maximum deviations for the outside diameter are determined by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.

7. At the customer’s request it is possible to produce pipes of high accuracy with only one parameter.
In this case, the limiting deflection another parameter must meet for hot rolled pipes GOST 8732, and for the rest — GOST 8734.
8. Pipes are produced in outside diameter and wall thickness.
At the request of the consumer pipe is cold after conversion can be made at the inner diameter and wall thickness.
Tolerances for the inner diameter of a pipe with inner diameter more than 10 mm should correspond to the limit deviations for outer diameter. If the internal pipe diameter less than 10 mm, the maximum deviations are established by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
9. Ovality and raznoshennoy pipes shall not withdraw the pipe dimensions limit deviations for outer diameter and wall thickness.
10. The curvature of the pipe section length of 1 m must not exceed:
1.5 mm for hot-rolled tubes;
2.0 mm for cold-deformed pipes with diameter up to 10 mm and 1.5 mm — for pipes with a diameter of over 10 mm.
For pipes with a ratio of 50 percent or more, produced without heat treatment, the norm of the curvature is not regulated.
At the request of the consumer pipe is manufactured with a reduced curvature of the norms set by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
