* The change is effective on the territory of the Russian Federation.
This standard applies to steel seamless casing and coring pipes and nipples to them, used for well casing and coring in geological exploration drilling, and the threads of the pipes and nipples, and the interrelated products.
The standard does not apply to dual core barrels and coring tube of a pipe used in the coring shells with removable core receiver.
(Changed edition, Rev. 3).

2.1. Casing and coring pipes for Geology-exploring drilling and nipples for them must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
2.2. On the surface of the pipe are not allowed cracks, slivers, flaws and sunsets.
Some minor nicks, dents, risks, thin layer of oxides, traces of Stripping defects and small slivers are allowed if they do not take wall thickness outside negative deviations.
2.3. Casing and coring tubes and nipples for them are made of steel strength groups D, K, and M. the Mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus shall not exceed 0,045% each.
Casing and coring pipes of strength group M are made by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
Coring pipe diameters 25−73 mm are made cold.
