Notes:
1. Theoretical weight of 1 m of pipe length calculated in kilograms using the formula:
,
where — mass, kg; — external diameter, mm; — wall thickness, mm.
When determining the theoretical weight of 1 m pipe over the original value is taken as the density of steel is 7.85 g/cm.
2. At the customer’s request it is possible to manufacture pipes with a diameter of 4 mm with a wall thickness of from 0.2 to 1.2 mm, with diameters of 125 and 133 mm with wall thickness from 2,0 to 20 mm, and a size 29х5,5; 32х8,5; 33х1,5; 33х8,0; 39х3,0; 41х5,5; 43х8,0; 44х3,0; 46х3,0; 46х6,0; 55х9,0; 58х4,0 and 84х8,0 mm.
3. Pipe with a diameter of 100 mm or more with respect to more than 50 and the pipe ratio of less than 4 are delivered according to the agreed with the customer technical documentation.
2. Depending on the relationship of the outer diameter () thickness () the pipes are divided into:
extremely thin-walled with more than 40 and pipes with diameter of 20 mm and with a wall less than 0.5 mm and less;
thin-walled when from 12.5 to 40 and pipes with diameter of 20 mm and with a wall less than 1.5 mm;
thick-walled when from 6 to 12.5;
isobutylene at less than 6.
3. The length of the pipe must be manufactured:
random lengths from 1.5 to 11.5 m;
lengths from 4.5 to 9 m extreme deviations in length +10 mm; the order of foreign trade organizations produce pipes measuring in length from 4 to 9 m, with extreme deviations in length +10 mm;
dimensional length, from 1.5 to 9 m with allowance for each cut to 5 mm (if the other stock is not specified in the order) and extreme deviations in the total length does not exceed specified pipe lengths.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 3).
4. Limit deviations for outer diameter and wall thickness of pipes shall not exceed that specified in table.2.

5. By agreement with the consumer pipes can be manufactured with a combination of extreme deviations, such as the outside diameter — high accuracy according to GOST 9567, and the wall thickness ordinary precision, or with a unilateral tolerance on the dimensions. The value of unilateral tolerance should not exceed the amount of two-way marginal deviations given in table.2. The value of theoretical weight of 1 m pipe is calculated according to the arithmetic mean of the amounts of positive and negative extreme deviations are given in table.2.
6. Pipe shall be manufactured in outside diameter and wall thickness. At the request of the consumer pipe shall be manufactured by the inner diameter and wall thickness, and inner and outer diameter and raznoshennoy.
Tolerances for the inner diameter must not exceed the relevant limit deviations for outer diameter.
For pipes with an internal diameter of 10 mm and less tolerances for the inner diameter are set by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
7. Ovality and raznoshennoy pipes should not display their sizes for maximum deviations, respectively from the outside diameter and wall thickness.
8. The curvature of any section of the tube per 1 m of length shall not exceed:
3 mm — for tubes with a diameter of from 4 to 8 mm;
2 mm — for pipes with a diameter of 8 to 10 mm;
1.5 mm — for pipes with a diameter of over 10 mm.
At the request of the consumer, the curvature of the pipes with a diameter of 20−90 mm should not exceed 1 mm per 1 m length.
Note. For pipes with a ratio of outer diameter to thickness , equal to 50 or more, produced without heat treatment, the norm of the curvature are determined by the agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
9. The material of the pipes and technical requirements — according to GOST 8733.
