1 Scope


This standard applies to hot seamless pipes of General purpose carbon steel and alloy steel for pipelines, structures, machine parts and other technical purposes.

For manufacture of pipes to be used rolled, forged and continuously cast billets.

4 Assortment

4.1 Dimensions and weight of 1 m of pipes shall be as given in table 2.

4.2 the length of the pipe must be made:

1) of random length in the range from 4.0 to 12.5 m;

2) measuring length within off-gage;

3) dimensional length within off-gage length with an allowance for each cut to 5 mm;

4) the length specified in the order — within off-gage.

Notes

1 By agreement between manufacturer and customer is allowed to produce pipes that are outside the limits specified for pipes of random length.

2 the Length of the measuring tubes point in the order.

4.3 tolerances for the length of the pipes lengths and dimensional length, must not exceed:

1) +10 mm — with length up to 6 m, inclusive;

2) +15 mm — at length of over 6 m or pipes of an external diameter exceeding 168 mm.

Note — the Limit of deviation of + 100 mm is allowed by agreement between manufacturer and customer.

4.5 In the agreement between manufacturer and customer pipes can be produced with a combination of extreme deviations, such as the outside diameter increased accuracy, and wall thickness — the usual precision.

4.6 Ovality and raznoshennoy pipes should take the outer diameter and wall thickness outside acceptable values.

4.7 the Curvature of any section of pipe of 1 m length should not exceed: 1.5 mm — for pipes with wall thickness up to 20.0 mm, inclusive; 2.0 mm — for pipes with wall thickness in excess of 20.0 to 30.0 mm; 4,0 mm — for pipes with wall thickness in excess of 30.0 mm.

The overall curvature of the pipe shall not exceed 0.2% of the length.

4.8 According to customer’s requirement pipe should be placed at the inner diameter and wall thickness, and inner and outer diameter and transverse raznoshennoy (the difference between the maximum and the minimum values of pipe wall thickness in cross-section).

Tolerances for inside diameter for pipe diameters 70−203 mm, wall thickness 7,0−20,0 mm and a ratio of diameter and wall thickness equal to or less than 10, should not exceed the appropriate tolerances for outer diameter, indicated in table 3.

For other pipe sizes, the maximum deviations at the inner diameter is determined by agreement between manufacturer and customer.
