This standard applies to non-galvanized and galvanized welded steel pipe with knurled or chopped cylindrical thread and without thread, used for water and gas pipes, heating systems and for parts of water and gas structures.

1. ASSORTMENT
1.1. Pipe manufactured according to size and weight, are given in table.1.
At the request of the consumer tube light series designed under the knurling thread, produce size and weight, are given in table.2.

1.2. The length of the pipe manufactured from 4 to 12 m:

1.4. Tolerances for the weight of pipes shall not exceed +8%.
At the request of the consumer, the maximum deviations in weight should not exceed:
+7,5% — for the party;
+10% — for individual tubes.

1.5. The pipe curvature of 1 m of length shall not exceed:
2 mm — with nominal bore up to 20 mm, inclusive;
1,5 mm — with nominal bore over 20 mm.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Pipe manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard for technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner, of the steel according to GOST 380 and GOST 1050 without standardization of mechanical properties and chemical composition.
Pipe parts for water and gas structures made from steels churchyard 1050.
2.2. At the request of the consumer at the ends of the pipes to be welded, the wall thickness of 5 mm or more, shall be removed chamfer with the angle of 35°-40° to the pipe end. This should be left to the socket ring width of 1−3 mm.
At the request of the consumer for ordinary and reinforced pipes with internal diameter more than 10 mm, the thread is applied to both ends of the pipe.

2.3. At the request of the consumer pipe couplings have made the graveyard 8944, 8954 GOST, GOST and GOST 8965 8966, at the rate of one coupler on each pipe.

2.4. On the surface of the pipe are not allowed cracks, slivers, bloating and sunsets.
The ends of tubes of the bundle are not allowed.
Allowed separate dents, rabiza, risk, signs of Stripping and other defects due to the method of production, if they do not take wall thickness for minimum sizes, as well as the layer of scale that do not impede the inspection.
The pipes, manufactured by furnace welding allowed in the seam reducing the outer diameter to 0.5 mm in the presence of this place sloping thickening at the inner diameter is not more than 1.0 mm.

2.5. At the request of the consumer for pipes with a nominal bore of 20 mm or more on the inner surface of the seam pipes grat must be cut or tapered, and the height of burrs or traces thereof should not exceed 0.5 mm.
At the request of the consumer for pipes in nominal sizes over 15 mm, manufactured by furnace welding and hot reduction method, on the inner surface of the tube in the seam area allowed a gentle bulge height of not more than 0.5 mm.

2.6. The pipe ends must be cut at right angle. Allowed the magnitude of the slant end face is not more than 2°. Residues burrs shall not exceed 0.5 mm When the Burr removal allowed the formation of blunt (rounded) ends. Allowed cutting of the line pipes in the mill.
By agreement between manufacturer and consumer on pipes with nominal sizes 6−25 mm, manufactured by furnace welding, burrs are allowed up to 1 mm.

2.7. Galvanized pipe must have a continuous zinc coating over the entire surface with a minimum thickness of 30 microns. Allowed no zinc coating at the ends and threaded pipe.
On the surface of the galvanized pipes is not permitted, the bubble and the foreign matter (hartsink, oxides, sintered charge), the peeling of the coating from the base metal.
Allowed separate flux stains and marks grip lifting devices, roughness and slight local nodules of zinc.
Corrections non-individual plots of 0.5% of the outer surface of the pipe according to GOST 9.307.

2.8. Tubes shall withstand hydraulic pressure:
2.4 MPa (25 kgf/cm) pipe ordinary and easy;
At 3.1 MPa (32 kgf/cm) — pipes.
At customer’s request, tubes shall withstand hydraulic pressure of 4.9 MPa (50 kgf/cm).
2.9. Pipes with nominal diameters up to 40 mm inclusive shall withstand a bend test around a mandrel of radius equal to 2.5 outside diameter and nominal bore of 50 mm on the mandrel with a radius equal to 3.5 outer diameter.
At the request of the consumer, the pipes should withstand the test of the hand:
for pipes with a nominal bore from 15 to 50 mm — not less than 7%;
for pipes with a nominal bore 65 mm — at least 4%.
At the request of the consumer, the pipes should withstand the test of flattening to the distance between the tapered surfaces, equal to 2/3 of the outer diameter of the pipe.

2.10. At the customer’s request of mechanical properties of pipes for water and gas parts of structures to meet the GOST 1050.
2.11. Threaded pipes must be clean, without flaws and free of burrs and conform to GOST 6357, accuracy class V.

2.12. In the seam allowed the black on the thread, if a decrease in the normal height of the thread profile does not exceed 15%, and the demand of the consumer exceeds 10%.
Allowed screw-threads stripped (chopped) or incomplete (for the thumb) thread, assuming that their length in an amount not exceeding 10% of the required thread length, and at the request of the consumer less than 5%.
2.13. Allowed in the thread of the reduction of the useful thread length (without taper) up to 15% in comparison with given in table.4, and at the request of the consumer — up to 10%.

3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Pipes take by the parties. The party should consist of pipes of the same size, one grade of steel and be accompanied by one document on quality in accordance with GOST 10692 with the addition of pipes intended for manufacturing parts of water and gas structures, steel GOST 1050; chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel in accordance with the document on the quality of the manufacturer of the workpiece.

3.2. Check the surface, size and curvature are subjected to each pipe of the party.
It is possible to use statistical methods of control GOST 18242* with normal level. The control plans established by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.

Control of the outer diameter of the pipes is carried out not less than 15 mm from the pipe end.

3.3. To control the parameters of the thread, for expansion testing, flattening, bend, the height of the inner bead, remnants of the burrs, straight angle, and the chamfer angle (for pipes with beveled edges), mechanical properties are taken no more than 1% but not less than two pipes from the party, and for pipe manufactured using a continuous furnace welding, two pipes from the party.

3.4. Control mass subjected to all the pipes.

3.5. Test the hydraulic pressure is subjected to each pipe. At 100% strength quality control of the weld non-destructive methods of testing hydraulic pressure is allowed not to perform. The ability of pipe to withstand hydraulic test pressure is guaranteed.

4. TEST METHODS
4.1. For quality control of each selected pipe cut one sample for each test.
The tensile test is carried out according to GOST 10006. Allowed to replace the tensile test to control the mechanical properties by nondestructive methods.

4.2. Inspection of the pipe surface is carried out visually.
4.3. Hydraulic testing is carried out according to GOST 3845 with the exposure under test pressure of not less than 5 s.
4.4. The test bend is carried out according to GOST 3728. Galvanized pipe experience to the coating.

4.4. Test distribution is carried out according to GOST 8694 on a conical mandrel with a cone angle of 6°.

4.7. The curvature of the pipes is controlled straightedge according to GOST 8026 and a set of probes for ND.

4.8. Straight angle pipe ends is controlled by the angle 90° size 160х100 mm class 3 according to GOST 3749, vane probes set of 4 at the ND or the protractor according to GOST 5378. The chamfer angle of the chamfer is controlled with a goniometer according to GOST 5378.

4.9. Control of the outer diameter is carried out smooth micrometer according to GOST 6507, gauges clamps according to GOST 2216 or GOST 18360.

5. MARKING, PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
5.1. Marking, packaging, transportation and storage is carried out according to GOST 10692 with the Supplement.
5.1.1. Threaded pipes must be protected against mechanical damage and corrosion lubricant in the normative documentation.
