3.1.3 Wire shall be made of iridium brands And 99.9; And 99.8 GOST 13099 and rhodium Of 99.9 stamps Rd; Rd 99,8 GOST 13098.

3.1.4 Wire is manufactured by hot drawing.

3.1.5 the surface of the wire should not be captured, cracks, cavities. Allowed color of a tint and local darkening of the wire.

3.1.6 Wire diameter of 0.3 mm or less is wound on a metal or plastic coil with a diameter of 20 mm, a wire diameter of 0.3 mm to 1 mm inclusive is coiled into skeins. Internal diameter of coil shall be not less than 60 mm.

The wire should be wound on a reel or folded into skeins rows, providing free spooling, with no sharp kinks. The distance between the upper row of the wire and the edge of the cheeks of the coil should be at least 3 mm.

Wire with diameter more than 1 mm must be in segments of length at least 100 mm.

3.1.7 Each coil (a coil) should consist of a single segment of wire with no splices, knots. The ends of the wire on the coil (reel) must be firmly attached.

Allowed to bind the coils of wire in the Bay, cuts wire with a diameter of more than 1 mm — in bundles.

3.1.8 Mass of wire on the coil (reel) must meet the requirements specified in table 2.

2 By agreement with consumer it is permitted deviation of the mass of wire on spool (coiled) from the values listed in this table.

3.1.9 the Estimated weight of 1 m of wire of iridium and rhodium, the electrical resistance and physical properties are given in appendices A, B, V.

3.2 Marking, packaging

3.2.1 On the sides of each coil should be marked with a number and the mass of the coil (in hundredths of a gram).

3.2.2 For each coil (coils, beam) wire and attach the tag which must be specified:

— trademark of the manufacturer;

— grade metal;

— wire diameter, mm;

— the batch number;

— the designation of this standard.

3.2.3 wire Spool, Packed into plastic or cardboard boxes, and also coils (cuts, bundles) wire wrapped in paper according to GOST 8273, must be Packed in solid wooden boxes.

Can be applied to other types of packaging and materials, ensuring the safety of wire during the transportation and storage.

3.2.4 Boxes are sealed, or seal the wax seals. The seal (stamp) needs to have a clear impression of the manufacturer.

Transport marking under GOST 14192.

3.2.5 gross weight of the box should be no more than 30 kg.

3.2.6 Each batch of wire is accompanied by certificates of quality, containing the following information:

— name or name and trademark of manufacturer;

— brand of metal;

— wire diameter, mm;

— the batch number;

— number of coils (of coils, sections, beams) in the party.;

— chemical composition;

— a lot of wire in the party, g;

— the designation of this standard;

— the month and year of manufacture;

— the stamp of the technical control Department.

The document as Packed in the last box, on which is marked: «here Document».

4 acceptance Rules

4.1 Wire take parties. The party should consist of wire made of metal of the same brand, same diameter. The weight of the batch is not limited.

4.2 Verification of surface condition (3.1.5), the diameter measurement (3.1.2) and the mass of the wire (3.1.8) is subjected to each coil (a coil, cut), verification of the gross mass (3.2.5) to each drawer.

4.3 For determination of chemical composition (3.1.3) select one coil (a coil, cut) from the party.

Allowed the manufacturer to determine the chemical composition of iridium and rhodium for each cast.

4.4 Upon receipt of unsatisfactory results according to the chemical composition it is carried out re-testing at twice the sample taken from coils (coils, segments) of the same party.

The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.

4.5 quality Control the labeling and packaging of (3.2) is subjected to each coil (a coil, cut, bundle) box.

5 control Methods

The length of the segments of wire (3.1.6) measuring ruler according to GOST 427.

Allowed the use of other measuring instruments providing the required accuracy.

5.2 the surface of the wire (3.1.5) and the quality of the winding (3.1.6, 3.1.7) verify by visual inspection without the use of magnifying devices.

5.3 Ground wire (3.1.8) is determined on laboratory weights according to GOST 24104. The gross weight of the boxes (3.2.5) is determined on the weights according to GOST 29329.

5.4 Chemical composition (3.1.3) define: iridium — 12223.0 GOST, GOST 12223.1, rhodium — 12227.0 GOST, GOST 12227.1.

5.5 Labeling and packaging (3.2) is checked by visual inspection.

6 Transportation and storage

6.1 Transportation, storage and accounting of wire is carried out in accordance with the rules of storage, transportation and accounting of precious metals.

Storage conditions in terms of the impact of climatic factors — according to GOST 15150, group SG.

7 manufacturer’s Warranty

7.1 the Manufacturer guarantees compliance of the wire of iridium and rhodium with the requirements of this standard, under the conditions of transportation and storage prescribed by this standard.

A storage warranty period — 25 years from date of manufacture. The date of manufacture should be the date of issue of the certificate about quality.
