The condition of the material should be specified in the order. If the order specifies the condition of the material, the wire is supplied in solid (cold-worked) condition.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.3. The surface of wire should be clean, without foreign inclusions, captivity, cracks, cavities, delaminations, and dents. On the surface of the wire are not allowed vices, bringing the wire at reference sweep for tolerances for dimensions. Allowed on the wire surface for the local darkening and color of tint, with the exception of wire of gold grades 99,99 Zl; Zl is 99.9.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 4).
2.4. Soft wire diameter from 0.2 to 4 mm should not break or split when wrapped 10 turns on a mandrel equal to twice the diameter of the tested wire.
2.5. Wire of diameter 0.60 mm and less shall be wound into a coil, and a diameter of more than 0.60 mm rolled coils in series, providing free spooling.
Delivery wire with a diameter of 0.50 mm and 0.55 mm in coils.
The ends of the wire in coils and reels must be secured by the end of the wire of the same coil or coils.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 3).
2.6. Each coil or coil consists of a single segment wire.
2.7. Weight of wire on a reel or on a spool provided in Appendix 1.
2.8. Mechanical properties of the wire are given in Appendix 2.
2.7, 2.8. (Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
