1. This standard applies to wire made from tungsten, are made* by powder metallurgy used in the manufacture of electronic devices and light sources.

Notes:

1. Wire diameter 5−12 mm at intervals of 0.5 manufactured by electrochemical etching of drawn wire. The permissible deviation of the mass of the segment wire length of 200 mm should be not more than ±0,01 mg. Permissible deviation in mass of the segment in percent is not regulated.

2. By agreement of the parties can be made wire with different values of nominal diameters and other extreme deviations from the nominal diameter.

3. The purpose and the group of wire depending on the brand of tungsten surface condition and metal is listed in the recommended Annex 1.

4. The nominal mass of the segment wire length of 200 mm and the permissible deviations given in reference annexes 2 and 3.

5. The non-uniformity of diameter (mass cut 200 mm) wire 100 mm in length of one coil should not exceed half the tolerance on the diameter.
