APP (mandatory). METHOD OF DETERMINING THE DRILLING PROPERTIES OF TUNGSTEN CARBIDE PRODUCTS FOR MINING TOOLS HAMMER DRILLING
APP
Mandatory
The method consists in drilling on blocks rocks PA special stand using a rotary. The results of tests under evaluation the operational durability solid alloy.
1. SAMPLING
Sampling is carried out according to GOST 20559.
2. EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND MEASURING INSTRUMENTS
2.1. Carbide product form Г1106 according to GOST 880, sealed in the casing perforator crowns tolocate form according to GOST 17196. Soldering crowns is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 6086. The test is carried out with a rotary hammer with an impact energy not less than 80 N/m (8 kgf/m) at compressed air pressure of 600 kN/m(6 kgf/cm).
Fluctuations in air pressure during the test shall not exceed ±20 kN/m(0.2 kgf/cm). The total length of air line (including the length of the hose) from the pressure gauge to the punch should not exceed 20 m Air line from the gauge to the punch should have no more than two coupling fittings with internal diameter not less than 16 mm. Diameter air hose shall be not less than 19 mm.
2.2. Drilling rods with a length of 0,8−1,0 m hexagonal inscribed circle diameter of 25±0.1 mm or round with a diameter of 32±0.1 mm and size of the cone according to GOST 10949.
The drilling is performed on homogeneous rock without fracture and violations. For these purposes use the units Shokshinsky quartzite or granite weighing not less than 1 ton
3. TESTING
3.1. The test is performed on a special stand, providing a stable testing conditions, drilling of bore-holes located vertically or horizontally, with effective cleaning of the hole from the drilling detail with the aid of dust extraction or water wash.
Before the test, prepare crowns.
Carbide blade crowns to sharpen with a radius of 120 mm and an apex angle of 110 °and diameter of 40±1 mm After sharpening on the blade of the crown is blunt and on the peripheral corners of the plate are removed chamfer. For all grades of alloys, the width of the break should be equal to 0,5±0,2 mm.
The chamfer on the peripheral corners of the plate are located at an angle of 45° to the axis of the crown and length in the plane of the blade is equal to 1−1,5 mm.
Every crown must be drilled 400 mm on the Shokshinsky quartzite or 800 mm over granite.
4. EVALUATION OF TEST RESULTS
4.1. From each batch of hard-alloy carbide three test records.
The tests evaluate the strength factor.
4.2. When testing carbide plates should not have breakdowns. All kinds of destruction of the plates, not allowing their further use, for example, transverse or longitudinal fracture, a complete or partial cleavage of the blade and russley products, is considered a failure.
4.3. Chipping is allowed no more than one plate. Under minor chipping refers to chips in which the diameter of the perforation of the crown after regrinding is reduced by no more than 1.5 mm, and a height of not more than 2 mm. Crown, with chipping carbide inserts, pritachivajut and re-test. In case of breakage of the plate during repeated drilling spalling refers to the breakdown.
4.4. If unsatisfactory results when tested by drilling (the breakage of the plates or chipping of the two plates) conducted a second test.
The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
If the breakage of the products will occur for reasons that do not depend on the quality of the alloy (breaking of casing or rod, jamming crowns, etc.), then this crown is not taken into account and instead tested a different.
If unsatisfactory test results, the batch is assessed as «useless strength» and is rejected. Subject to satisfactory test results, the batch is assessed as «usable strength».
