Example of symbolic designation of portage-blanks of alloy VK8 with a size of 10 mm, 35 mm:
Portage-processing 1980−0389 VK8 GOST 2330−76
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
1.2. Symbol portage-blanks when ordering with the all-Union classifier of products (OKP). The complete code of OKP portage-blanks consists of 18 digits: the first six digits denote the grade, the following four sign — 3402 — a form of drag, the last eight characters of code size (denoted in the table.1).
Example of designation when ordering portage-blanks of hard alloy VK6 with brand size: 10,0 mm; 35,0 mm; 35,0 mm; 2.2 mm; 3 mm; 4.0 mm; 1,0:

3402 198
0−0381 GOST 2330−76
(Added, Rev. N 2).
2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. The die-workpiece must be manufactured from solid sintered alloys VK6, VK8, ВК10, ВК15 according to GOST 3882−74. The density of hard alloy for portage-blanks 1980−04341980−0564 must be within:
VK6 — 14,815,2 g/cm,
VK8 is 14.715.1 g/cm,
ВК10 to 14.414.9 g/cm,
ВК15 — 13,914,6 g/s
m.
2.2. Ovality and outer work diameters may not exceed half of the dimension tolerance.
2.3. In places of conjugation of elements of the working channel portage-blanks are allowed a fillet radius of no more than 0.5 mm or burrs with a size of 0.5 mm.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
2.4. In places of transition of the output cone on the end of the portage-blanks allowed the fillet radius of 1 mm.
2.5. Of pitting on the working surfaces of dies-blanks with an outer diameter of 70 mm are not allowed.
2.6. Depth of pitting on working surfaces should not exceed 1 mm for portage-blanks with an outer diameter of 30 mm and 2 mm for the portage-blanks with an outer diameter up to 70 mm.
2.7. For portage-blanks with an outer diameter of over 70 mm permitted:
a) burrs on edges up to 1.5 mm;
b) traces of porosity of graphite moulds in the form of roughness;
C) the pitting on the working surfaces of dies-blanks to a depth of not more than half of the tolerance for the size without limitation of length;
g) chips and dings on the outside surfaces to a depth of 1.2 mm.
d) chipped at the edges to a depth of 1.8 mm, extending on end and cylindrical surfaces at a distance of not more than 2.5 mm from the edge;
e) at the transition cone 60° into a cylindrical belt is allowed ledge width up to 1.5 mm;
g) nonparallel ends portage-blanks within half of the tolerance on size.
2.8. The die-blank with outer diameter more than 70 mm can be manufactured without chamfering the outside diameter.
2.9. The macrostructure in the break portage-blanks should be uniform. Shell, delamination, and foreign inclusions are not allowed.
2.10. The die-workpiece needs to be cleaned from korraks and graphite.
2.11. Unspecified limit deviations of dimensions shall be field tolerance:
for holes — H17, for shaft — h17, for others , for the angles — , — GOST 8908−81;
for radii of curves, bevels and elements that are not related to holes and shafts, tolerance class «medium».
(Added, Rev. N 1).
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. To verify compliance with portage-blanks the requirements of this standard and GOST 3882−74 conduct acceptance tests.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
3.2. Test portage-blanks is carried out in the following quantities:
a) the die-workpiece outer diameter up to 70 mm are parties;
b) with an outer diameter of 70 mm show each preset.
3.3. The party should consist of dies-blanks of the same brand of alloy made from a mixture of one cooking.
3.4. To determine the limits of bending strength and hardness portage-blanks with an outer diameter of 70 mm present 20 pieces specially made cold pressed specimens 5х5х25 mm. Specimens should be manufactured from the same batch, and workpiece.
3.5. To check the density, hardness, macrostructure selected number of samples specified in the table.2.
