7. REISSUE
This standard covers carbide inserts brazed to the cutting tool for machining metals and non-metallic materials.
The standard requirements in part of sec. 1, 2, 4, 5 are compulsory.
1. THE DESIGN AND DIMENSIONS
Design and dimensions GOST 25394 — 25402 GOST; GOST 25404 — 25409 GOST; GOST 25411; 25412 GOST; GOST 25414 — standard 25416, 25419 GOST — GOST 25426; 17163 GOST; GOST 20312.
2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Plates shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
2.2. The plate shall be made from hard alloy according to GOST 3882.
2.3. Microstructure and macrostructure of the plates according to GOST 4872.
2.4. Limit deviations of linear dimensions (, , , , , , , ) plates in mm must not exceed when the value of size:

Note. Limit deviations for dimension types 13, 14, 17, the size of the type 21 are set with «+ «sign, size, type 39 with the sign «-" while maintaining a tolerance.
2.5. Unspecified limit deviations of linear dimensions up to 1 mm — ±0.15 mm over 1 mm .
2.6. Plate types 14, 17, 21, 25 and 26, designed for soldering in the grooves, should be constructed with normal and high degree of accuracy.
2.7. Limit deviations of the thickness of the plates designed for soldering in the grooves of the types 14, 17, 21, 25 and 26, must comply with: a high degree of accuracy — 0.1 mm, the normal degree of accuracy given in table.1.

2.8. Limit deviations of angular dimensions should not exceed:
±1° for angle up to 10° and 90°;
±2° for angle of over 10°.
Note. Angular parameters are provided technologically.
2.9. Flatness tolerance for a broad supporting surfaces should match the values specified in table.2.

2.11. Flatness tolerance on a wide supporting surfaces for the plates normal degree of accuracy, designed for soldering in the grooves must match the values specified in table.2.
2.12. Plate thickness 3.0 mm and less shall be manufactured without a chamfer and posterior angles.
2.13. The depth of the scratches and dents should not exceed the following values, in mm:

2.14. On cutting edges chamfer is not allowed more than 0.1 at a thickness of 6 mm or more 0.6 mm at a thickness of 6 mm, while the remaining edges is more than 0.6 mm.
2.15. On cutting edges are not permitted rounding radius more than 0.2 mm, while the remaining edges is more than 0.6 mm.
2.16. On the tops of the allowed rounding (see the devil.1) no more than 0.6 mm with a nominal length of 18 mm and not more than 1 mm with a nominal length of more than 18 mm.
Note. Allowed instead of a corner chamfer equal to the radius .

2.17. The size of the fractures on the working cutting edges should not exceed 0.2 mm without limitation of length.
The size of the fractures on the outside edges (see the devil.2) must not exceed the following values, in mm:

2.18. On the surfaces of all plates should be free of blistering, delaminations, and cracks.
2.19. The width or the height of burrs on cutting edges should not exceed 0.3 mm with a nominal length of 30 mm and 0.5 mm with a nominal length of more than 30 mm.
Width or height of the burrs on the edges bounding the support surface, shall not exceed 0.15 mm at thickness up to 6 mm and 0.20 mm at thickness more than 6 mm, and for plates with a high degree of precision of 14 and 17 must not exceed 0,07 mm.
2.20. Labeling, packaging — according to GOST 4872.
3. ACCEPTANCE
3.1. To check the compliance plates requirements of this standard the manufacturer shall carry out acceptance inspection.
3.2. Control for compliance with the requirements of PP.2.2 and 2.3 — GOST 20559.
3.3. Control for compliance with the requirements of paragraphs.2.4, 2.5, 2.7−2.11, 2.13−2.17, 2.19 — sampling according to GOST 18242*.

3.4. Control for compliance with the requirements of section 2.18 — solid.
Plate presented to the receiving parties. The party must consist of plates of the same size, the same brand hard alloy manufactured in one technological process and at the same time presented for acceptance on the same document.
The method of selection of plates in the sample — random according to GOST 18321.
3.5. Defects are divided into critical, significant and insignificant.
Critical are the defects referred to in paragraph 2.18.
Critical defects are not allowed.
Significant defects include variations over specified in PP.2.4, 2.7, 2.9−2.11, 2.17.
For minor defects include a deviation of more parameters specified in PP.2.5, 2.8, 2.13−2.16, 2.19.
3.6. The volume of sample, the acceptance number, depending on the lot size given in table.4.

3.7. The party accepted, if the number of defective wafers in the sample is less than or equal to the acceptance number.
3.8. Party are not, or are subjected to continuous control if the number of defective wafers in the sample more than the acceptance number.
3.9. Party plates types 14, 17, 21, 25 and 26 are received, if the number of defective wafers in the sample are less than or equal to acceptance number of defective found in the plates of the values of the limit deviations of the parameters does not exceed 50% of tolerance.
3.10. Party plates types 14, 17, 21, 25 and 26 are not accepted if the values of the limit deviations of the parameters from the defective wafers exceed 50% of tolerance.
