Note. The column «Total» includes the sum of the impurities listed in the table, as well as admixtures of platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, tin, osmium, titanium, silver, copper, Nickel, magnesium, and volatile percentages.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2, 3).
1.4. Refined ruthenium is produced in powder form. The particle size of the powder should be less than 1.0 mm. presence of powder particles larger than 1.0 mm in an amount of not more than 2% by weight of the party.
1.5. Powder of refined ruthenium should not contain extraneous mechanical impurities.
2. ACCEPTANCE RULES
2.1. Refined ruthenium accept parties. The party must consist of a powder of the same brand. The weight of the batch shall not exceed 250 kg.
2.2. To check the quality of powder with the requirements of this standard from each lot of powder is sampled.
2.3. If unsatisfactory test results on at least one of indicators on it, repeat tests are carried out on twice the amount of material from a sample according to claim 3.1. The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
2.1−2.3. (Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
3. TEST METHODS
3.1. To determine the chemical composition and powder particle size of ruthenium sampled. For this batch of powder was stirred six times on the ring and cone and reduce kvantovanie with triple mixing at each stage to mass at least 5% by weight of the party.
Allowed sampling method of crossing streams of powder when unloading from the mixer after the mechanical averaging.
3.2. The particle size determined by sieving the sample powder through a sieve with mesh N 1 according to GOST 6613.
3.1, 3.2. (Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
3.3. For analysis of the chemical composition of the sieved sample was stirred and reduce kvantovanie to the mass of not less than 50 g. the resulting sample for analysis is milled to a particle size of not more than 0,315 mm.
Analysis of the chemical composition of refined ruthenium produce 12228.1 GOST, GOST 12228.2.
A sample for determining the chemical composition to be stored for at least three months from the date of shipment.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
3.4. Mechanical impurities is determined by the sample visually.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 2).
4. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
4.1. Refined ruthenium packaged in plastic jars and glass vials. Net weight of powder in plastic banks should be no more than 5000 g in glass ampoules — up to 25 g inclusive.
Cap and tube cans tied or fastened by other means and sealed with the seal of the shop-manufacturer and technical control of the manufacturer. Glass ampoules are sealed.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
4.2. On each jar and label where you indicate:
the name of the metal and its brand;
batch number;
room banks;
