This standard applies to powdered products and establishes General requirements for structural components of articles manufactured from metal powders by pressing followed by sintering, cold or hot forging of porous blanks.
Terms used in the standard correspond to GOST 17359.
The requirements of this standard are recommended.
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. The main structural elements of powder components are: hole, radial passages, slots and teeth in the direction of the molding, walls, chamfers, drafts, corbels, corrugated surfaces, clamps, projections and recesses on the ends.
1.2. The type and characteristics of the structural elements in the powder product is determined by the ability to manufacture them by pressing with subsequent sintering or forging of porous blanks.
1.3. The density of powder products is provided by manufacturing technology and varies from 50 to 100% of their theoretical density. The density of the products indicate in the normative-technical documentation for specific product.
2. CLASSIFICATION OF PRODUCTS
2.1. Depending on the constructive elements of a product are distinguished simple, complex and very complex shape.
2.1.1. To products a simple form include:
products without transitions in height;
products without holes or with one hole and with the ends constrained parallel planes.
Additional constructive elements of simple form are the walls, chamfers, grooves, teeth.
2.1.2. For products of complex shape include:
products with a single transition in height, without openings and with the ends constrained parallel planes;
products with one or more holes, with one transition in height and with the ends constrained parallel planes.
Additional design elements of shapes are structural elements referred to in paragraph 2.1.1, as well as piles, ledges, slopes, grooves on the ends.
2.1.3. To produce a particularly complex shape are:
products with two or more transitions and collars for height, with the ends constrained parallel or non-parallel planes, curved surfaces;
products with one or more holes with two or more stacks on the inner and outer surfaces and with the ends constrained parallel or non-parallel planes, curved surfaces;
products limited to one or more conical, spherical, and other curved surfaces.
Additional constructive elements of the most complex forms are the elements specified in the claims.2.1.1 and
3. REQUIREMENTS FOR SELECTION OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS
3.1. The types and dimensions of structural elements must meet the functional requirements of the products.
3.2. The selection of structural elements should provide a predetermined distribution of density over the volume of the product. To ensure uniform distribution of density over the volume of product necessary deviation from the mean value do not exceed 3.5% for extruded products and no more than 1% for stamped products.
3.3. When forming the structural elements of powder products should:
parts of complex shape to shape along the axis of rotation;
products that do not have the axis of rotation, to shape the direction along which is the minimum number of transitions in height.
3.4. When designing a complex and highly sophisticated products powder should provide the least number of transitions in height.
The width of each of the crossings should be not less than 0.8 mm.
3.5. Burty, turning into a thin wall (ratio of length to thickness of more than 10), it is recommended that reinforcing ribs, placing them along the axis of pressing.
3.6. The transitions in the product (from the collar to the wall, into the key grooves, projections) must be in the form of radial surfaces of a radius not more than 0.5 mm.
3.7. To improve extrusion products should be applied to the technological biases of up to 1.5°.
3.8. In the manufacture of products with holes, then the preference should be given to holes of cylindrical shape. It is possible to produce holes square, rectangular and other shapes.
3.9. The corners of holes must be rounded with a radius not less than 0.3 mm.
3.10. The powder products it is necessary to use projections instead of grooves, not to use narrow and long protrusions, grooves and splines.
3.11. Structural elements — internal or external thread, the trailing or reticulated knurling (knurling), lateral depressions, circular grooves on the side surfaces, holes, not parallel to the axis of extrusion, it is recommended to make additional machining.
3.12. Requirements to the constructive elements of the products and technologies of their production, are given in the table.
