2.3. Refined rhodium manufactured in powder form. The particle size of the powder should not exceed 0,8 mm.
Allowed particles larger than 0.8 mm in an amount of not more than 2% by weight of the party.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.4. Powder of refined rhodium should not contain extraneous mechanical impurities.
3. ACCEPTANCE RULES
3.1. Refined rhodium powder take parties. The party must consist of a powder of the same brand, issued a document on quality and specification.
3.1.1. The document about quality should contain:
the name of the metal and its brand;
trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;
batch number;
mass fraction of rhodium, %;
mass fraction of each determined by the impurity, %;
room specifications;
the date of issue;
the OTK stamp;
the designation of this standard.
The mass of the party must be not more than 300 kg.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1, 2).
3.1.2. Specification must contain:
trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;
the name of the metal and its brand;
room specifications;
batch number;
the date of issue;
the number of seats;
rooms cans;
the mass of metal in each jar, g;
mass fraction of rhodium, %;
mass fraction of each determined by the impurity, %;
the total weight of the batch, kg;
the designation of this standard.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
3.2. To check the quality of powder with the requirements of this standard from each lot of powder is sampled weight from 3 to 5% of the batch weight.
3.3. If unsatisfactory test results of at least one indicator thereon, a second test of the doubled sample from the same batch of powder. The results of repeated tests apply to the entire party.
4. TEST METHODS
4.1. To determine the chemical composition and particle size of powder of rhodium sampled, which batch of powder was stirred six times on the ring and cone and reduce kvantovanie to samples weighing 5% of the batch weight.
Allowed to acquire a sample by the method of intersection of the jet while stirring with a mechanical mixer.
4.2. The particle size determined by sieving the sample through a sieve with mesh No. 08 according to GOST 6613. The sieve residue should be not more than 2%.
4.3. For analysis of the chemical composition of a sample crushed to particle size of not more than 0,315 mm, stirred and kvantovanie to reduce a mass of at least 50 g. the Sample is stored for at least three months.
Analysis of the chemical composition of refined rhodium powder is carried out according to GOST 12227.0, GOST 12227.1.
4.4. Mechanical impurities in the sample is determined visually.
4.5. Weighing of refined rhodium powder is carried out according to normative-technical documentation.
