Description

Alloy 1163 applies: for the production of profiles with cross-sectional area of 200 cm2 and a diameter of circumcircle up to 350mm suitable for use in the aviation industry and special branches of engineering; cyclically loaded structures; details and designs of skins of the fuselage and bottom wing, including in the form of sheets with a solid plating of RD to increase resistance to fatigue. Available the whole range of industrial semi-finished products (sheets, plates, extruded profiles and panels), including a lengthy (30 m).

Note

Modern damage tolerant alloy of the duralumin type (σin≥420 — 460 MPa) with a high level of fracture toughness.
