Description
Alloy 1201 is used: for the manufacture of welded products operating operating at temperatures down to -253 °C; welded structures operating at cryogenic and elevated temperatures.
Note
Termouprochnennyh alloy. Strengthening effect opened in 1938.
ISO 209−1 alloy brand 1201 is designated АlCu6Mn and 2219.

According to OST 1 90048-90 the total mass fraction of other impurities is ≤ 0.15%.
According to OST 1 90271-78, OST 1 90272-78, OST 1 90287-87, the hydrogen content in the alloy should not exceed 0.20 cm 3 per 100 g of metal.

Sheets OST 1 90271-78, plate OST 1 90272-78 are delivered: the method of manufacture with normal plating - A (1201А); material condition: annealed - M (1201АМ), tempered - T (1201АТ) Board with an average degree of deformation of 1,5-3,0 %, tempered and artificially aged T1 (1201АТ1) - the Board, after quenching with an average degree of deformation of 1,5-3,0 %, cold-worked after quenching with an average uplift of 7-10 % - TN (1201АТН), cold-worked after quenching with an average uplift of 7-10 % and artificially aged Т1Н (1201АТ1Н). Accuracy of manufacturing according to the thickness and quality of surface finish - ordinary finish, without the additional symbols according to GOST 21631. Extruded cross-sections up to 500 cm2 in OST 1 90287-87 come: without heat treatment (1201), annealed - M (1201М), hardened and the Board - T (1201Т), hardened, artificially aged, and the Board - T1 (1201Т1). |
