Description
AK7 alloy identification and casting requirements
AK7, AK 7 and AK-7 searches can be ambiguous. This page covers the aluminum foundry-alloy designation in the existing technical record. Include the governing standard, casting process, heat-treatment condition, part drawing, dimensions and tolerances, inspection or certificate requirements, quantity and destination ZIP code.
The AK7 alloy used: for the manufacture of various ingots and shaped castings by various casting methods (sand casting, investment casting, gravity die casting, pressure); casting of parts of metallurgical equipment.
Note
Aluminum foundry alloy of the system Al-Si-Mg.
Heat-treatable alloy with good strength properties, but with reduced toughness and corrosion resistance.
Technological characteristics of the alloy close to alloy grade Ak7ch.
