Description
Alloy Amg10 used: for the manufacture of ingots and shaped castings by various casting methods (sand casting, investment casting, gravity die casting, pressure) with high corrosion resistance; casting parts of valves and actuators to it; the castings manufactured all kinds of molding in addition to injection molding, operating at corrosion exposure and exposed to alternating high static and shock loads.
Note
Aluminum foundry alloy system Al-Mg.
Corrosion-resistant heat-treatable alloy with high strength and plastic characteristics. The alloy has satisfactory casting properties. Receipt of sealed parts of the alloy difficult.
For OST 4.021.009−92 alloy Amg10 not recommended for new designs.
