Notes:

1. In the bronze brands Bro3c7s5n1, Bro3c12s5, Bro8c4 and Bro10c2 sum of impurities of silicon and aluminum should not exceed 0.02%.

In the bronze, is not intended for castings of parts operating under hydraulic pressure, in agreement with the consumer allowed the mass fraction of aluminum to 0.05% silicon up to 0.05%.

2. Allowed arsenic impurities to 0.15%, magnesium 0,02%, sulfur — up to 0.05% within the total amount of impurities.

3. Mass fraction of Nickel in all brands except Bro3c7s5n1 allowed to 2.0% due to copper in the total amount of impurities is not included.

4. Mass fraction of lead in bronzes brands Bro10c2 and Bro8c4 in agreement with the consumer allowed to 1.5% and the total amount of impurities is not included.

5. In the casting of bronzes brands Bro10c2 and Bro8c4 intended for welded structures, the mass fraction of lead should not be more than 0.05%.

6. By agreement between manufacturer and consumer in the brand Bro10s10 allowed mass fraction of phosphorus up to 1.0%.

7. Impurities are not regulated by this standard are included in the total amount of impurities.

3. Mechanical properties of thermally not processed bronzes and their applicability is given in Appendix 1.

4. The chemical composition of the bronze is determined according to GOST 1953.1−79-GOST 1953.12−79, GOST 25086−87.

5. Tensile strength and elongation after rupture determined in accordance with normative-technical documentation.

6. The tensile test is carried out in accordance with GOST 1497−84.

7. Brinell hardness number is determined in accordance with GOST 9012−59.

8. Compliance grades of tin bronzes of this standard and GOST 613−65 is given in Appendix 2.
