According to GOST 801-78, the total content of Ni + Cu≤ 0.50%. In steel, obtained by the method of electroslag remelting, the mass fraction of sulfur should not exceed 0.01%, and phosphorus 0.025%. When steel is smelted in acid open-hearth furnaces, the mass fraction of copper is allowed up to 0.30%, while maintaining the norm of the total share of copper and nickel is not more than 0.050%.
