D32 steel is used: for the production of plate, universal broadband, bandpass and shaped rolled, intended for the manufacture of shells and other welded structures of ships and floating structures.

According to GOST 5521-93, the mass fraction of nitrogen is allowed up to 0.012%, provided that KCU ≥ 294 kJ / m 2 is provided in the rolled product after mechanical aging at 20 ° C. It is allowed in place of aluminum soluble in acids, to determine its total mass fraction, while the rate increases by 0.005%.
