Description

80Г20Ф2Ю steel is used: for the manufacture of long products and forgings; hull structures of ships, vessels and goods marine equipment (shafts, spindles, axles, worm and gear wheels of low-speed mechanisms, hubs, couplings, power studs, springs, Cams, fingers, parts of friction units of hydraulic motors).

Low dispersion-hardening austenitic steel.
Not prezentacia steel for use in aggressive environments, including sea water.
High static strength is provided by heat treatment due to the dispersion hardening — selection of dispersed carbides of vanadium. Due to the high content of carbon and vanadium steel has a low tendency to grain growth during heating and allows for the forging of fine structure required for a quality nitriding products.
Magnetic permeability μ ≤ 1,01 GS/e and is almost constant in any thermal and thermomechanical processing. Nitriding can increase the permeability of up to 1.2 GS/E.
