Fe is the basis.
According to GOST R 51685-2000, the mass fraction of residual elements - chromium, nickel and copper, is not more than 0.15% of each, with a total mass fraction of these elements not exceeding 0.40%. The mass fraction of sulfur and phosphorus is indicated for steel M76F. In the steel grade K76F phosphorus ≤ 0.030%, sulfur ≤ 0.035%. In steel grade E76F phosphorus ≤ 0.025%, sulfur ≤ 0.030%.
For a rail type P65K, the mass fraction of carbon should be 0.83-0.87%. At the same time, the numbers in the steel brand were replaced by 85.
