Description
03Х18Н12 steel is used: for the manufacture of welded equipment operating in environments of increased aggressiveness (nitric acid, nitrate environments, acetic acid, alkaline solutions and salts); heat exchangers, muffles, pipes, fittings furnace fittings; spark electrodes incendiary spark; the electronics industry; nets with square mesh used for the control and separation of materials by particle size, filtration of liquids, gases and other purposes; cold-rolled strip intended for deep drawing products, electronic industry.

According to GOST 5582-75 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 03H18N12-VI with nitrogen and oxygen restriction (at the request of the consumer).
According to GOST 4986-79 in the steel grade 03H18N12-VI the mass fraction of oxygen should not exceed 0.006%, nitrogen 0.030%, copper 0.20%.
According to TU 14-1-656-73 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 03H18N12.
According to TU 14-1-4353-87, the chemical composition is given for steel 03Х18Н12-ВИ.
According to GOST 5582-75 the chemical composition is given for steel grade 03H18N12-VI with nitrogen and oxygen restriction (at the request of the consumer).
According to GOST 4986-79 in the steel grade 03H18N12-VI the mass fraction of oxygen should not exceed 0.006%, nitrogen 0.030%, copper 0.20%.
