3.3 cadmium brands Кд0000 and Кд000 mass fraction of mercury is allowed up to 1·10% on agreement between manufacturer and user.
3.4 high-purity Cadmium supply in the form of ingots weighing (0,5±0,075), (1,0±0,15) and (10,0±1,5) kg Cadmium brand Кд00 put also in the form of rods of length 150 mm and weight not more than 0.2 kg.
Cadmium can be ordered in the form of dendrites and ingots of different shapes and masses by agreement between the manufacturer and the customer.
3.5 the surface of the ingots and bars should be clean, without burrs and ridges.
The ends of the rods should not be bent.
3.6 Each ingot, rod and dendrites of cadmium of high purity packaged in a package made of polyethylene film, which is hermetically brewed and wrapped in brown paper.
Packed cadmium supplied in boxes of type I according to GOST 5959 [gross weight should not exceed (10±1) kg] or in the drawers of another species, ensuring the safety of products during transportation and storage.
3.7 Transport marking under GOST 14192.
The marks containing data on the packaged products, is applied to each package stating:
— trademark and (or) name of the manufacturer;
brand cadmium;
— the batch number.
Additional requirements for packaging and labeling can be set in the order agreed between manufacturer and user.
3.8 Cadmium intended for export, are accompanied by documentation in accordance with the terms of the agreement (contract) between the enterprise and foreign trade organization or a foreign buyer.
4 safety Requirements
4.1 safety Requirements when working with cadmium from the manufacturer and the consumer — technological documentation in accordance with GOST 12.3.002, GOST 3.1120.
5 acceptance Rules
5 1 high-purity Cadmium present to the acceptance of the parties. The party should consist of cadmium in one brand shall be furnished in one document about quality that contains:
— trademark and (or) the name of the manufacturer;
brand cadmium;
— the batch number;
— the weight of the batch;
— the number of seats in the party;
the chemical analysis results;
— date of manufacture;
— the designation of this standard.
The mass of the party must be not more than 400 kg.
5.2 Each ingot or rod in the party should be monitored for compliance with 3.2, and 3.5 of this standard.
6 Methods to control
6.1 it is allowed to the manufacturer a sample of the cadmium away from the party of the molten metal uniformly in the filling process of the metal, and all or part of these samples may be cast in the form required for analysis.
6.2 To determine the chemical composition of the cadmium is taken of the combined sample is composed of point samples.
From each selected for control of the ingot or rod is taken spot samples are cut with a knife from high-alloy steel or cutting pieces with a mass of 20−40 g from one end of the ingot and the mechanical sides of the rod. Samples from the dendrite cut in the form of individual dendrite. The mass of the spot samples should be not less than 0.3% of the mass of the ingot, rod or dendrite.
Selected spot samples are combined, stirred and reduce kvantovanie to obtain a laboratory sample of mass not less than 160 g.
The prepared sample is divided into two parts and placed in plastic bags. Plastic bags are made, put in paper bags, which indicate the date of sampling, batch number and the name of probatoria. One part of the samples intended for chemical analysis, the other kept as control for 6 months.
6.3 determination of the chemical composition of cadmium is carried out according to GOST 23116.0, 23116.1 GOST — GOST and GOST 23116.5 19 674 units.
Allowed determination of the chemical composition by other methods of equal sensitivity and precision standard.
If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition of it is determined according to GOST 23116.1 — 23116.5 GOST and GOST 19 674 units.
7 Transportation and storage
7.1 Cadmium transporterowych in covered vehicles of all types in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this type, and postal parcels. Rail transport cadmium transporterowych small shipments (one cargo to another consignee).
7.2 high-purity Cadmium is stored in the manufacturer’s packaging in closed spaces.
8 manufacturer’s Warranty
8.1 the Manufacturer guarantees that the quality of the cadmium requirements of this standard, under the conditions of storage and transportation.
