Notes 1 In cadmium brand Кд0А mass fraction of Nickel must not exceed 0.001% or brand Кд0 — 0,002%. In cadmium brand Кд1 mass fraction of Nickel is determined by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer. 2 In cadmium and brands Кд0А Кд0 mass fraction of arsenic, antimony and tin do not exceed 0.003% of the amount, brand Кд1 — of 0.002% each; it is determined periodically at least once per month. |
3.3 Mass fraction of cadmium is determined by difference between 100% and sum specified impurities.
3.4 Cadmium supplied in the form of ingots weighing (10,0 ± 1,5), (4,0 ± 0,6) and (0,5 ± 0,1) kg bars with diameter (8 ± 1) mm.
3.5 Length of bars and weight plates is determined by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer.
Cadmium can be ordered in other sizes and shape by mutual agreement.
3.6 the Surface of ingots, plates and rods should be free from inclusions. Permitted undulating surface, shrinkage and cracks. Bars should be free of cracks. The ends of the rods should not be bent.
3.7 Each pig and plate mark mark of the manufacturer or brand of cadmium and batch number. The markings on the bars are not applied.
3.8 Pig put in containers according to GOST 18477 or in packs on pallets according to GOST 9557. The formation of packages in accordance with the requirements of GOST 21399 and GOST 26663.
The scheme of placing and fastening of cadmium ingots in packages is given in Appendix B.
Allowed the formation of the packages of standard documentation.
Bars and plates of cadmium supply Packed in tight boxes in GOST 2991, types II-1, II-2, III-2.
3.9 Ingots and bars of cadmium intended for export or for long-term storage, are Packed in boxes according to GOST 2991, type III-2 with additional requirements according to GOST 24634.
Allowed pig cadmium free, designed for long-term storage, to form in packages on pallets.
3.10 For each box of bars attached label trademark of the manufacturer, the brand of cadmium and batch number.

5.1 Cadmium present to the acceptance of the parties. The weight of the batch limit. The party should consist of a metal of the same brand, resulting in a single technological cycle, and decorated with a single document about quality that contains:
— trademark or name of the manufacturer;
brand cadmium;
— the batch number;
— the weight of the batch;
— the number of seats in the party;
the chemical analysis results;
— date of manufacture;
— the designation of this standard.
5.2 Every batch of cadmium should be monitored for compliance with 3.2, and 3.6 of this standard.
5.3 To control the mass and the chemical composition of cadmium from each party selected 5% of pigs, slabs or bars when the weight of the batch is up to 1 t and 2% of the weight of the party more than 1 T.
6 Methods to control
6.1 Selection and preparation of samples for determining the chemical composition — GOST 24231.
6.2 allowed the manufacturer a sample of the cadmium away from the party of the molten metal uniformly in the filling process of the metal, and all or part of these samples may be cast in the form required for analysis.
The sample shall be representative of the chemical composition of the party.
Safety requirements for the selection, sample preparation and chemical analysis of cadmium — GOST 17262.1, 17262.3 GOST, GOST 17262.4.
6.3 Chemical composition of cadmium is determined according to GOST 17262.1, 17262.3 GOST, GOST 17262.4, 12072.0 GOST, GOST 12072.1 — 12072.8 GOST, GOST 12072.10.
Allowed determination of the chemical composition by other methods of equal sensitivity and precision standard.
If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 17262.1, 17262.3 GOST, GOST 17262.4, 12072.0 GOST, GOST 12072.1 — 12072.8 GOST, GOST 12072.10.
6.4 Control of the surface quality of ingots, plates and rods is carried out by visual inspection without using of magnifying means.
7 Transportation and storage
7.1 Cadmium transporterowych in covered vehicles of all types in accordance with the rules of cargo transportation applicable to transportation of this species.
Rail transport cadmium, Packed in containers, transporterowych open rolling stock, in packaged form transporterowych in covered wagons in carload shipments.
Placement and mounting of the packages in covered wagons and containers on the open rolling stock produced in accordance with the technical conditions of loading and fastening of cargoes, approved by MPs.
7.2 Cadmium is stored in closed premises in the manufacturer and the consumer.
