3.2 Mass fraction of lead, tin, cadmium and silicon is determined by the requirement of the user.
3.3 Permissible mass fraction of impurities may be changed by agreement between the manufacturer and the consumer without changing the mass fraction of the main components and stipulated by the delivery terms.
3.4 Example of symbols
The pig in Zamak 9−1,5: TSAM 9−1,5 h GOST 21438−95.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 Alloys manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard technological instruction, duly approved.
4.2 Alloys manufactures in the form of ingots with an intersecting mass of not more than 27 kg.
4.3 Surface pigs should not have bays, Nikitin, SAG, slag and other inclusions that are visible to the naked eye.
Allowed traces of Stripping or cutting defects.
4.4 On each pig must be marked with:
— trademark or a trademark and the name of the manufacturer;
— number of melt;
— color coded alloy.
4.5 Color coding is applied at the end of the pigs has a dye in the form of a strip:
for alloy grade TSAM 9−1,5 h — yellow;
for alloy grade TSAM 10−5 h — blue.
5 acceptance Rules
5.1 Pig show to the acceptance of the parties. The party should consist of ingots of one brand of alloy, of one or more heats shall be furnished in one document about quality that contains:
is the trademark or name and trademark of manufacturer;
— brand alloy;
— number of melt (melting);
— the results of chemical analysis melting (melting);
— the weight of the batch;
— the designation of this standard.
5.2 To check the chemical composition of each heat are taken from 10% of pigs, not less than three.
On the manufacturer allowed for sampling from liquid metal.
5.3 To check the quality of the surface taken at least 10% of pigs from melting.
5.4 If unsatisfactory test results of at least one of the indicators, it conducted a re-test of the doubled sample taken from the same heat.
The results of re-checking apply to all the melting.
6 test Methods
6.1 Verification of the surface quality of ingots is carried out visually.
6.2 Selection and preparation of samples for chemical analysis is carried out according to GOST 24231.
Weight of sample for analysis shall be not less than 150 g.
6.3 Chemical composition of alloys determined according to GOST 23328, GOST 25284.0-GOST 25284.8. Allowed to determine the chemical composition by other methods of equal accuracy standard.
If there is disagreement in the assessment of the chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GOST 23328, GOST 25284.0-GOST 25284.8.
7 Transportation and storage
7.1 Pig transporterowych formed into packets in accordance with the normative documentation.
Transport marking under GOST 14192.
7.2 Packages of pigs transported by all kinds of transport in covered vehicles or containers in accordance with cargo carriage regulations applicable to transport of this species.
7.3 Pig should be kept indoors.
