This process occurs not only at high, but also under normal conditions.
Dispersion hardening
The dispersion hardening process in the presence of titanium in the alloy leads to the formation of y'-phase and a significant increase in the heat resistance of austenitic steels. Titanium has a temperature-variable solubility. The level of chromium and other alloying elements directly affects the kinetics of y'-phase formation during solution-hardening of the pre-hardened alloy.
