1. This standard establishes the basic types, design elements and dimensions of spot weld joints of steels, iron-Nickel, Nickel and titanium alloys performed by pulsed laser welding solid-state lasers.
The requirements of this standard are mandatory.
2. For structural elements of welded joints of accepted designations:
and — the thickness of the edges of the welded parts;
— the diameter of the welding spot;
the gap between the edges of the welded parts;
and the width of the collar;
— the height of the flange or flanging of the edges
3. Main types of welded joints shall be as given in table.1.

5. Convexity or concavity of the weld points should not exceed 20% of the thickness of the thinner part but not more than 0.1 mm.
6. The displacement of the welded edges in height relative to each other to 20% of the thickness of the thinner part but not more than 0.1 mm.
7. Edges of the parts under the welding not to dull. For thicknesses of the welded parts more than 0.4 mm is allowed dulling welded edges with radius up to 0.1 mm associated with the removal of the burrs on these edges.
8. When welding parts made of homogenous material the offset welds on the seam parts must not exceed 0.2. For inhomogeneous materials the offset value is set in the technical documentation approved in the established order.
