REPLACE GOST 14771−69
EDITION (December 2006) with Amendments No. 1, 2, 3, approved in March 1982, December 1986, January 1989 (IUS 6−82, 3−87, 4−89)
1. This standard establishes the basic types, design elements and dimensions welded joints of steels and iron-Nickel alloys and Nickel-based performed by arc welding in a protective gas.
The standard establishes the basic types, design elements and dimensions welded joints of steel pipes according to GOST 16037−80.
2. In the standard the following notation methods of welding:
IN in an inert gas consumable electrode without filler metal;
Of InP in an inert gas non-consumable electrode with filler metal;
IP — in inert gases and their mixtures with carbon dioxide and oxygen consumable electrode;
Up — in carbon dioxide and its mixtures with oxygen consumable electrode.
3. Main types of welded joints shall be as specified in table.1.
