S275 grade and purchasing requirements
S275 steel requests should identify the complete grade or subgrade, such as the required impact-test class, together with the governing EN or project specification. Include plate thickness or section size, width and length, delivery condition, surface and testing requirements, certificates, quantity and destination ZIP code. Similar grade names from different standards are not assumed to be interchangeable.
S275 steel is used: for the manufacture of hot-rolled structural shapes (angles, I-beams, channels), sheet, universal broadband rental and roll-formed profiles designed for construction of steel structures with welded and other connections.
