This standard applies to hot-rolled and forged bars of rectangular cross-section of carbon tool steel, alloy steel and high speed steel.

1. Section dimensions and limit deviations shall be as specified in the drawing and in the table.1.

Notes:

1. Allowed bulge (bochkoobraznoj) or concavity of the narrow faces. The bulge should not output the band width limit deviation, and concave — beyond the nominal size.

2. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer can manufactured bands of other sizes with extreme deviation to the nearest smaller size.

1A. Depending on the purpose of the band made:

2. Length of strips shall be as defined in table.2.

3. Limit deviations for the length of the strip dimensional and multiple lengths shall not exceed that specified in table.3.

Note. At the customer’s request hot rolled strips are produced with extreme deviations in length +25 mm, forged with a length up to 4 m +40 mm.

4. Strips should be sharp. Allowed the dulling of the edges not exceeding 0,15 thickness.

5. Camber strips shall not exceed 0.5% of the length.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer, the strip manufactured with a camber of not more than 0.2% of the length.

6. The nonplanarity of the strip should not exceed 0.5% of the length, with 01.01.91 — 0,4%.

By agreement between manufacturer and consumer, the strip manufactured with a deviation from flatness is not more than 0.2% of the length.

7. Removednode strip must not exceed the limit deviations on width.

7a. The dimensions of the section of the strip is checked at a distance not less than 150 mm from the ends. Methods of measurement of geometric tolerances — according to GOST 26877−86.
