GST 18 1140
Date of introduction 1982−01−01
Resolution of the USSR State Committee for construction from 7 may 1981 N 64 introduction installed with 01.01.82
* Reprint, January 1987, with Change 1, approved in November 1986 (IUS 2−87).
This standard applies to cold-formed profiles of aluminum and aluminum alloys, manufactured by roll forming mills and intended for cladding of building structures.
1. ASSORTMENT
1.1. The purpose of the profiles are divided into types:
A — for walls, partitions and coverings;
PA for skins of sandwich panels;
SA — for suspended ceilings, cover strips, protective devices and other structures for special purposes.
1.2. The symbol of the profiles taken in accordance with the scheme.
Example of designation of the aluminium profile of type SA with a height of 20 mm, a width of 300 mm, a sheet thickness of 0.8 mm, having perforation (p) from the aluminum strip alloy grade AMC, annealed (M) according to GOST 13726−78:
1.3. Form of sections, dimensions, square cross sections, weight of 1 m length and 1 m, and the reference size profiles should match those in hell.1−14 and in table.1−14.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
1.4. Profiles should be made:
lengths from 1.2 m to 7.8 m for profiles such As;
multiple (300 mm) lengths from 1.2 m to 7.8 m — type profiles of the PA and the SA.
Length of sections shall not exceed the amounts specified in the table.1−14.
By agreement of the parties delivery of sections of random length (not less than 1.0 m) in an amount of not more than 2% by weight of the supplied products.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Profiles shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard working drawings, approved in the prescribed manner.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.2. Profiles shall be made of aluminum strip according to GOST 13726−78 or sheets according to GOST 21631−76 aluminum brand AD1 and alloys AMTS, Amg2 thickness 0,6; 0,8; 1,0 mm normal accuracy in thickness and a normal surface finish.
The delivery condition of the material profiles for all brands: no heat treatment, annealed (M) and polunagartovannye (N).
2.3. On the surface of the profiles is not allowed:
crack, flaw, delamination;
risks depth exceeds the value of the negative deviation of the thickness profile.
Other requirements to the surface quality of the profiles according to GOST and GOST 21631−76 13726−78.
2.4. Limit deviations of the dimensions of the profiles from the nominal shall not exceed specified in table.15.

Dimensions for which the maximum deviations are not installed, the profiles are not in control. Step width, radius of curvature and depth of the corrugations is controlled in bore rolls.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.5. Maximum deviations in thickness of sections should correspond to the limit deviations on thickness of metal blanks according to GOST and GOST 21631−76 13726−78. Maximum deviations do not apply to variations in the thickness profile in areas of bending.
2.6. Waviness of the edges of profiles should not exceed 5 mm per 1 m length of the profile. In the profiles with the free side edges 70 mm is allowed waviness with an amplitude of 25 mm.
2.7. The perpendicularity tolerance of the edges of profiles should not exceed 5.0 mm in width. For profiles of the highest quality tolerance Squareness of the edges shall not exceed 3.0 mm in width.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
2.8. On the end and side edges of the profiles are not permitted by local crushing depth of more than 3 mm.
2.9. In agreement with the manufacturer of profiles can be supplied with protective coatings in accordance with SNiP II-28−73.
3. COMPLETENESS
3.1. Package should include:
profiles of the same size and brand aluminum alloy;
the document about quality (certificate) for shipped products.
4. ACCEPTANCE RULES
4.1. Profiles must be accepted by the technical control of the manufacturer parties. The party should be considered to be profiles of the same size, made during the shift from one kind of workpiece, with one installation of main rolls, one of alloy grades and the delivery conditions of the metal.
4.2. The appearance test is subject to each profile.
4.3. For the control profiles for compliance with the requirements of PP.2.4−2.8 take away 5% of profiles from the party, but not less than 3 pieces.
4.4. Party is considered accepted if the indicators of the quality of the profiles meet the requirements of this standard.
4.5. If unsatisfactory results control at least one of the quality indicators, it is carried out repeated monitoring on twice the number of samples taken from the same batch.
If re-inspection will be at least one profile that does not meet the requirements of this standard, the entire batch is subjected to routine acceptance.
4.6. The consumer has the right to make test verification of compliance profiles with the requirements of this standard, respecting the order of selection profiles and applying these control methods.
5. CONTROL METHODS
5.1. The surface quality of the profiles is determined visually.
5.2. Control of linear dimensions of profile measurement tool: measuring tape according to GOST 7502−80, class 2, metal ruler according to GOST 427−75, changereason according to GOST 164−80 caliper according to GOST 166−80. The width and height of the profiles measured at a distance of 500 mm from the ends of the profiles or in the midline.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
5.3. Waviness profile and check using the calibration line according to GOST 8026−75 and caliper according to GOST 166−80 or gauges according to GOST 162−80.
5.4. The perpendicularity tolerance and the crushing of the edges of the profiles, check a square churchyard 3749−77 and a set of probes according to GOST 882−75 or ruler according to GOST 427−75.
5.5. The quality and thickness of the protective coating is controlled according to SNiP III-23−76.
(Changed edition, Rev. N 1).
6. PACKING, MARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
6.1. Packing, marking, transportation profiles, and documentation produced in accordance with GOST 9.011−79 and the requirements of this standard.
6.2. Packing profiles are produced in packages. The packaged produce according to the drawings of the manufacturer, approved in the prescribed manner. Packing packages must ensure the safety profile and protective coatings against mechanical damage.
Weight of package must not exceed 3000 kg.
Allowed-sections of SA Packed in the cartons. Weight boxes with profiles must not exceed 300 kg.
6.3. Marking applied to the label that is attached to the bag or box. The marking shall contain:
the name or trademark of the manufacturer;
designation of the profile;
the length and the number of sections in a package or carton;
the weight of the package or carton;
the number of package or carton;
mark (stamp) of the Department of technical control of the manufacturer.
6.4. Each batch of delivered products must be accompanied by a quality document (certificate) which must contain the following information:
the name or trademark of the manufacturer;
the name of the consumer;
order number;
designation of the profile;
the type and color of the protective coating;
the number and the number of packages or boxes with a weight of each package or carton;
the total mass profile in the party by weight of sections of random length.
6.5. The document about quality and the label on the profiles of the highest quality must contain the image of the state quality Mark assigned in the prescribed manner.
6.6. Conditions of transportation of the profiles under the influence of climatic factors should correspond to the group G1, the conditions of storage of the J3 group according to GOST 15150−69.
